It was only a matter of time before the press release was sent through for one of Universal Pictures Video’s biggest region two releases of the year… Back to The Future. The trilogy first hit the cinema screens in the 1980s and amassed a phenomenal $926 million in the worldwide box office. Now the legendary movies can be yours to own in a 3-disc boxset with over 5 hours of special features, including commentaries, deleted scenes, out takes, newly re-mastered audio soundtracks and a fully loaded array of bonus features.  

Back to The Future charts the amazing adventures of Marty McFly (Michael J Fox), a high-school student in the small Northern California town of Hill Valley. The adventure starts in 1985 when Marty’s mentor and friend, the eccentric genius scientist Doc Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd), invents a time machine in the form of a plutonium-powered DeLorean.

All three movies will be re-mastered and packed with additional footage and features. Disc one will features the original Back To The Future movie, The Making of Back to The Future, Making The Trilogy: Chapter 1, all new feature commentary with Director/Writer Robert Zemeckis & Producer/Writer Bob Gale, Outtakes, Deleted Scenes, Original make-up tests, Did you know that? Universal’s Animated Anecdotes, Production Archives, Storyboards and a theatrical trailer. Disc two will feature the Back To The Future II movie, Back to The Future PART 2 Featurette, Making the Trilogy: Chapter 2, Outtakes, Deleted Scenes, Hover Board Test, Production Archives, Storyboard and the theatrical trailer. The final disc will feature the Back To The Future III movie, Making the Trilogy: Chapter 3, outtakes. Deleted scenes, ZZ Top music video, Production Archives, Storyboard and a theatrical Trailer. The three disc DVD Collection will be in shops from 2nd December and will retail for £34.99.
