He's reaching for his hair piece... watch out.
What a lame poster/cover. His arms look shorter than John McCain's, for crying out loud.
The trailer for this film looked horrible. That cover art reminds me of the MI:3 art, except ugly.
That is quite possibly the laziest 2-disc artwork ever.
Highres artwork added for the DVD releases
Awful, awful movie.
[insert generic hair-related joke]
i agree...what the hell is that weird contortionist move all about?
Looks like he is escaping from a straight jacket...
Quite possibly one of the worst covers/posters ever for a movie that got a theatrical release. Even most of direct to video movies have better covers.

i was gonna ask why such a financial flop was receiving a two disc edition but then i read the specs. someone mentioned barely an hour of extras? i'll be surprised if there's even 30mins worth. that could have easily been put on 1 disc and simply have the digital copy on disc 2 and sc**p the 1 disc version, then they'd have everyone buying a digital copy.
but yeah, i think its obvious why they keep making those digital copies. they always include em in the 2disc edition of a movie and since those normally include more features, its the one many people buy. so the studios being so intelligent think that means they want digital copies when in fact its the extras selling that version, not the disc.
they should try attaching a digital copy to every edition and then they'd see nobody cares.

Are people really eating up these "digital copies" as much as studios dump them on us lately? My standard (even dated) version of free Real Player rips movies from DVDs.... There is honestly no point. 2 Disc special editions used to MEAN something, like 2 discs of content and extras that make it special enough to not actually be able to fit on a single disc. Now, its basically "one disc edition with extra useless plastic".
A load of (Bang)kok...
LionsGate is as cheap as Warner Bros. maybe even cheaper.
1 disc
- Movie
- No special features
2 disc
- Movie
- Barely an hour of special features
- Digital copy
They should be more like Universal.

Ewww, Fullscreen
Decent box art.
Is Lionsgate really trying to rip us off on these 2 discs? Just 2 Featurettes, an alternate ending, and just a trailer for $30.00. Screw Lionsgate. When they come up with the "right" decisions then we'll talk.
Seriously though, what is up with his hair? He needs some hair plugs or something... since his new venture into hairstyling, I've completely forgotten how he plays Nicolas Cage in every single movie. Completely monotone, boring and bad.
Cage needs to cut his hair and get back to making good movies.
that's a small set of extras for the 2-disc which could have been included on the single disc.
Will the mullet be coming back?
is he trying to do a armpit fart? hahahahaha
I like how they cut off the top of his head with the cover..."let's try and show as little hair as possible"

Well the digital copy has been confirmed. The artwork is okay looking. I wasn't expecting much from it though.
Further details added, along with small shots of the artwork
I heard so many bad things about this. So pass!
It was entertaining enough. I just wonder how the original is.
P.S. No Nic Cage hair jokes in this comment.

That was fast!
Cage and Shamalamadingdong should do a movie together. Their heads would probably explode as a result of it sucking so bad.

You are exactly correct. Lionsgate has done this to every 2-disc special edition. Like when I purchased The eye (2008) it came with a digital copy.
Ah, now that makes sense.

Man, Nicholas cage's career is going downhill faster than his hair stylist's sanity!
looked awful.
dont even think i could rent this one.
lololol.

You know you guys should cut it out. It's just a movie. What you think this is life or death?
What did this movie do to earn a 2-disc?
I sucked, and it bombed at the BO.

gonna buy this. could be good fun.
I enjoyed the film (much better than the Hitman film adaptation). I think most cinemagoers were upset by the ending. The directors Pang Bros were on stylish form.
If you love Leon: The Proessional, La Femme Nikita, John Woo's The Killer, Replacement Killers then you will enjoy the film. If you hated those films - then you should give "Bangkok Dangerous" a miss.

Nic Cage's career is obviously going down hill. His hair reminded me of Tom Hanks' in The Da Vinci Code. The Pang Brothers can do better than remaking their films for Hollywood. Then again, so can Michael Haneke.
Should have been called: Nicolas Cage's Magical Mystery Hair
Cut it out guys.

It got terrible reviews, but if you liked the original, you might just like this since it's directed by the same people... I think.
Just checked... yep, by the same people.
