everytime a trailer for this would appear, I literally had to restrain myself from reaching for any sharp objects! Seriously when are they going to stop making such putrid computer animation family films! We need more like "Monster House" ones that actually have imagination and creativity! Why do these make money?
Yup, it's really one "talking and farting animals" movie after another, isn't it. But I have to admit this one's quite different from the rest. After all, this is the first movie where even the males are called "cows" and have udders. Nope, haven't seen that before. And you said there's no creativity.
No Bull...

This, along with the short-lived (thankfully) Gateway commercials with its male cows drives me nuts (yes, I know...short drive). Even my young kids knew that cows were female and thought the movie looked dumb. Cow chip.

Looked like DTV c**p!!!
Steve Oedekerk has written some pretty funny stuff (Ace Ventura, Patch Adams, Bruce Almighty, Kung Pow), but even I find this kind of contrived and stupid. I remember when there were 3 or 4 animated films a year and they were all great. I can't even recall how many were this year.
This looked horrible. End of story.
What the heck is this...?! Looks terrible.
It looked okay. I want to rent it.

But not only is there CGI animated films hitting theatres at every direction these days, they are all about animals eg.) Barnyard, The Wild, Madagascar, Over the Hedge, the Ant Bully,Hunting Season which is coming soon. Everyone's Hero is the only ani-film that I can think of lately that is trying to do something unique- and even that isn't suppost to be good. Where's the innovation? Toy Story anyone?
AHHHHH! The male cows have udders! Make it stop! Seriously though, this has been truly a terrible year for animated films.
S**tty movie. Terrible art. Almost as s**tty as Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius, Nickelodeon's last CG outing.
This site is really turning into a b***hing session about very personal taste and not constructive comments. For heavens sake Barnyard is a childrens film and mine loved it; they are a better judge of this type of film for parents then adults who are looking for the 'extra' humour added into some animated films which just goes over childrens heads.
on the subject of male bovine having udders being wrong (agreed)... erm talking animals hello! Please, let us not get so into the world of anorakdom here.

And perhaps it's movies like this that are the reason so many kids nowadays are undereducated. Do you want your kids treated like morons? That's what these movies are doing, basically. It's like talking "baby talk" to your baby; it's not conducive to the child's development, just like movies like this aren't helping to develop brain power.

my girlfriend loved this movie! lol

My kids pointed out that male cows don’t have udders; it’s the adults that don’t know this that I worry about. Oh and forgive me for asking but isn't this site about films being release on DVD? Please lighten up and if you are going to comment on something lets have in-depth reviews and not 'the packaging looks c**p', 'the colour of his cape is too bright' or 'I haven’t seen this film but it looks c**p'; these comments are a waste of time.

Yeah, very true, but if you look at animation as a whole, even traditional animation has been all about animals even the disney classics. Talking animals are one thing that don't look right as live action (throw away Cats & Dogs please), which is why animators use animals for their characters. Why do you think Garfield was animated and not Odie? Animals make good characters because their facial features and actions closely mimick ours (humans), so it's more relatable. That's why I didn't even bother with Cars since the idea of a talking car seems way too juvenile, cars don't have faces to start with. Toy Story worked because the toys were either human toys or animal toys. The reason why we don't see animated movies about humans like The Incredibles, is that to make a human incredibly realistic in animation is really hard and takes lots of work and money. Why did Final Fantasy fail as a movie? Cause it just didn't connect. Kinda see my point? Sorry for the ramble, but I wrote an article on this awhile back for my site, so I kinda have it in my head.

yes, you are right and I am wrong; I will get over myself for pleading for intelligent reading - what was I thinking DOH!
The trailers turned me off this one very quickly - and I thought they were meant to drag us in!
Final artwork added...
Damn, how many family animated movies have there been this year? This one is a netflix.
Hmm... Lesbian cows?
Just saying cause I think there's something with Daisy the Cow and Otis the Cow. Don't know if that was intentional or not. But it's kinda funny.

Maybe the cow's a pre-op transsexual.
