This looks promising, good companion piece to Begins and Knight also an addition to DCU movies.

I don't know why everything is all anime nowadays... The Tales of the Black Freighter is going to be anime-style too. Is normal animation just too ordinary? It's worked in the past... I'm not that huge a fan of anime (as you may have guessed), but I think it could be an interesting enough approach to do a Batman cartoon.
That being said, I am looking forward to this. And will more than likely pick up on the release date.

Can't wait to pick this up. Blu-ray all the way on this one. The Dark Knight is gonna rule!!!!
Why So Serious?
Not even needing to think about it... gonna buy it and enjoy it.
Can't wait to see the artwork! I hope its something that goes nicely with the Batman Begins artwork.
well its gotta be better than the JL New Frontier movie. i cant believe how sorta boring that thing was.
Might buy this one.
Will definitely buy this despite my not being a big fan of anime. Looks like it's the same style as The Animatrix, which was totally bizarre to me. I am a HUGE Batman fan though, and am eagerly awaiting The Dark Knight, so why not invest in the companion piece?
I believe they're gonna throw on some bonus Batman episodes on the 2 discer as they did with JL eps on New Frontier... When you think about it, the 2 disc entries for Final Frontier and this seems kind of like a rip off... I mean the movies themselves are no longer than an hour and 15... The featurettes are under an hour.. So why can't they all go on 1 disc?
Superman/Doomsday was a 1 discer and still had a substantial amount of features which even included a casting feature.. Which I didn't see at all on the 2 disc Final Frontier.
The only additions to the 2 disc were a couple extra featurettes (one half an hour, and one 10 minutes), and the bonus Justice League episodes. As I said before, couldn't all of that fit on 1 disc? Or how about just sc**pping the bonus episodes, which i'm sure people already own via season sets, and just have the 1 disc.. I appreciate the option WB provides, but why shell out extra money for something that isn't a fully blown special edition.. For a little extra documentary, and some bonus episodes? Just another case of the man trying to take us for extra money. :p j/k
But yeah, this 2 disc seem just as pointless as the 2 disc for Final Frontier... And i'll more than likely end up contradicting myself and shell out extra for the 2 disc anyway... Go figure.

I know nothing about this but I'll consider it if Bale (at least) lends his voice.
A "sneak peek at the upcoming Wonder Woman film?" Surely this is another animated story because there's no peek to be sneaked on the currently dormant live action film.

Kevin Conroy, who voiced Batman in the SUPERB 1990's animated series, is returning to voice Batman in these. Best news I read all day!
It's an even better day now that I know that the atrocious 'The Batman' animated series has been cancelled and ends this month.

Will definitely be getting this on release day. Better make sure I got enough room in the Batman DVD collection for one more on July 8th.....
Oh well. May double dip it.

I'm glad it doesn't look like "The Batman". They are getting my money for sure.
I want to watch this and I can't wait for The Dark Knight to hit theaters.
Is this gonna be like JL: New Frontier and have no R2 release?
Definite buy, I love all the DC animated universe movies.
i'll just watch it when my GF netflixes it..... personally, i find anime to be rather overrated.
there's far too much "looping" going on most of the time, which is totally lazy IMO--- and sorry i have a hard time appreciating characters whose mouths animate with only two frames of animation..... i mean for christ's sake, Scooby Doo actually pronounced his words.

Decent cover art. Not that my purchase was hinging upon it anyways.....
We get a raw deal in Ire/Uk with DC Animated sets. I had to import all my Justice League and Unlimited sets, and also all of the Batman sets, TAS and B:Beyond. Even Superman isn't available.
But seeing as this is tied to a major motion picture it might get a European release. Might check it out, be nice to hear Kevin Conroy as Batman again.

I know that Kevin Conroy is voicing Batman, but, who else is providing voices for the movie? I'm asking this because the DC Universe movies are usually star-studded animated features.
"Blu-ray DVD" ??
who will buy this one the release date? oh yes i know who...fat trekkies with lots of time on their hands..
Will pick up the Blu-Ray release!
2-disc art looks pretty cool, but why's Batman on there twice?

Is that really an intelligent or necessary comment?
Anyone who supports the new efforts being done to make a worthy Batman film franchise after it was nearly annihilated last decade will most likely buy this, that's who.
Besides, I'm not fat, I'm not a Trekkie, and I have but one, maybe two days a week to myself these days...

I like both covers and I cannot wait to see this! Although I really don't see the point of the second Batman on the 2-Disc artwork as well. I know it's six different visual interpretations of the character, but it still seems a bit much. Either way, I want it!
