I imagine you'll get this in the US as well.
no doubt, but they'll prob be the ones we've had. I'm gonna have to go with these logo covers though this time.
Batman Returns cover?

Oh wow, I REALLY hope these come to the US soon. Otherwise I'll be importing all four of these!
Wanna bet that the reason Batman Returns' artwork isn't out there might have something to do with its' censored status?
OK, we admit that this has nothing to do with it, but it is worth mentioning that the UK edition will still be cut even when put out on the premiere format - that being how to set up a timed explosion using a microwave, spray-cans and a busted gas pipe...

Other parts of the world gets batman on blu earlier than USA? Weird. Cool covers.
Nice covers.
The thought of watching Batman & Robin on BD is very tempting what with all those exciting visuals*, but I think I'll pass on these blurays. Stick with my original dvds.

US gets X-Files fight the future (FOX locked C**P!)
No imminent release date for europe on this only the 2nd movie

The UK cover is so much better than the USA one.

THE WILSON BROS
That was a pain in the arse on the special edition DVD. It meant the commentary had to be dropped because of those cuts; as it probably will be on BD. If these are even the special editions anyway...

So, these covers are pretty frickin' sweet. However, the only GOOD movie was the 1st, and the 2nd was decent, and then they were terrible. Still, the covers are awesome.
I read that the US will get the first Batman movie on blu ray sometime around February or March of '09. If thats the case then i'll definitely import these. I love the fact that Blu Rays are region free.
These covers are REALLY cool. It's amazing how cool they are considering it's just the logos. I bet there isn't a Batman Returns cover yet 'cause they can't think of what to do with that.
There is a Batman Returns cover, but not a high res version.
that Batman Forever cover is drivin me crazy. Really awesome. I love the Riddler question mark

I'll stick to the DooVdés.
Are most Blurays region free?
Yeah i believe so. FOX is one of those companies and the worst i might say to region code almost all there movies even catalog titles wich does not make any sense at all because they have allready been in theaters around the world.
Yep FOX is one the reasons Blu hasn't spread like wild fire yet. It was only when DVD regioncode was cracked DVD toof off. FOX is the main culprit why Blu ray has not gone mainstream yet.
Aslong there is region codes Blu will never succeed. Many refuse to buy blu because of that. FOX is the true enemy of Blu Ray
MAY FOX BURN TO THE GROUND!

Wow. US is getting ripped up again.
Michael, I believe you're overlooking the single biggest pain in the arse that Fox has brought to Blu-ray: BD+. So far they're the only studio to use it and it's actually had a detrimental affect on some of their titles. Still, even with that said, who in their right mind is going to boycott a studio with such a great library of films?
Still think Region coding is the biggest enemy for Blu. And FOX is the worst of the them all
I love those covers - damn, why couldn't the SD releases have got that treatment?
Still, I think I'll stick with my SD versions of the Burton entries (I wouldn't touch 3 or 4 with a 3-foot long Joker pistol); they've got more than adequate DTS tracks, and picture that's nothing to complain about.
As of right now, I'm only double-dipping on BD releases that I either have so much love for that I can't stand not to have the best version available (like the Godfather trilogy), or the SD is and always has been on the poor side.
Oh - and I'm sure the Batman Returns cover kicks all kinds of ass too. That's actually my favorite of the Burton Batmans, and one of my favorite comic book movies ever. Elfman's score alone makes it a classic.
Come to think of it, I might just have to double-dip on that one

This in a Blu-Ray case...

Michael, I think price first, then region coding. I have to wait a while to play my AvP 2 here in Aus due to the FOX bloody cr*p coding, but everything Blu is so expensive in the first place....

Not interested in the vastly overrated Burton flicks or B & R. Might pick 'Forever up when it's price drops...but really, none of these come remotely close to the Nolan-Era films.
