Yeah!
Yeah!
Nice extras, but my DVD that I got for $5 isn't worth replacing for this.
DTS-HD Master Audio - What! :D
It's good to also see Mono too. The 5.1 could be awful, but is probably Mono in everything but name.

It looks like a pretty solid and reliable release, if only they would start releasing blu-rays with more features...
all those extras sound cool, it almost makes me wanna get it but i already saw the movie and yeah................not my cup of tea. lol
but its nice to see such an old movie that isnt a "classic" get a good special edition treatment.

I wish Fox and Warner could hit some sort of agreement to release the TV series. Campy Bat-goodness indeed!
Bouncy, this edition is better than many new releases, even when some of the extras might be carried from the previous DVD (which I own, yes...) and the extras might not even be on HD...
There will also be a Limited Editon version for $59.98 which comes with a replica Batmobile made by Hot Wheels. It's limited to 5000.
Pictures?
Truly this is the greatest Blu-Ray release EVER!
But yes, I really wish those legal hiccups preventing the tv show from coming out on DVD would be resolved.

I'll stick to my regular DVD of this.
I just wish they would find a way to bring the series out.

LOL, I think he called it Oceanic Bat Spray. I love how he sprays the shark, it falls, then explodes when it hits the water.

At the risk of being chased out of this fine forum:
This is NOT Batman to me. This series and movie were great to watch when I was younger, but I recently caught a few episodes and I just couldn't sit through them.
Pass on this...and the entire series.

hahhaah
must EVERY movie be released on bluray? will Batman: The Movie really benefit by having the "SPLUNCH!!"es and "POOT!!"s in super-high resolution? it looks like all the extras except for the 360 degree navigational thing could have easily fit onto a dvd.

Holy blu ray, batman!
But aren't there a lot of other good movies that should come before this...?

Yes but Twentieth Century Fox probably wants to make a little money off of Batman when the new movie comes out.
I would buy this release but i am not into buying blu-rays yet and I was planning on actually buying the DVD for cheap on Friday.
