That's a pretty bad cover design no matter how you look at it. Even the soldier looks like he's hundreds of feet above the buildings. They should have gone along the lines of Escape Fron New York and used an LA landmark, perhaps showing a fallen soldier next to a Hollywood star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That would have been meta lol....
Well, Rorschach12, the advertisers of this film remain adamant that the viewer recognizes that "This" is, in fact, survial as opposed to war. It is, to quote the designer of this cover, "super important, you guys."
Why is the tagline right beneath the title and in such big letters? That's a dumb decision. Maybe they just added a another sub-title...
