Just a heads up, there are a total of 7 flashback webisodes. All but the first two and the last one made it into the extewnded cut of the feature. So webisodes 3,4,5,6 made it into the film. And the ones left out don't really contribute to the story at all, but the ones included do show quite a bit of relevant stuff. And I'll leave it at that.

Yes. That's what I'm saying. The separate webisode section in the extra features are 4/7ths redundant. The first webisode just shows William 'Husker' Adama fraking some female crewman in preparation for the mission to come, and then the second one shows a scene in the hanger bay right before the mission launch, and webisodes 3-6 are intact in the feature showing the actual mission, and then the final one is William pondering what just happened or some such thing. Although I may be confusing it with one of the deleted scenes.

I was really thinking of buying the series, but I don't know if it would be any good!
Artwork's cool though!

Hmmm...you don't know if it'd be any good....they don't don't call it "the best show on TV" for nothing.
Oh sure, it has its stinker episodes from time to time, but for the most part, it's an excellent series. The DVD sets are great as well, as nearly episode has deleted scenes and Podcast commentaries.
If you like a good human drama that questions which side in a war for survival is worthy enough to survive that just happens to take place in space, then BSG is for you.
