this way regardless if its actually any good.....most of the fans will probably blind buy it and so when it airs on tv, say it was already known to be horrible and the ratings suck, well they got money off the dvd/blu-ray.
gotta love hollywood.

Not interested totally. Sounds like Star Trek.
If Star Trek was a brooding, dark, adult-oriented, post-apocalyptic space opera (without any aliens whatsoever)...sure....

Oh wow...THAT has got to be THE most incorrect statement I think I have ever read. Hmmm, with a name like Pulaski, can I assume you're Polish? And if so, there's a joke in there somewhere.
Battlestar Galactica is everything that Star Trek wasn't.
And you do realize that this is a one-off wrap-up episode of a series that is already completed, don't you?

From the getgo I always said they should never have named it after the original. Nothing like it... and definitely nothing like ST. The turnaway quality of the name probably sliced it's potential viewer count in half.
Would be like naming LOST "Ancient Black Monsters & Ghosts"

What the hell are you talking about? Have you ever seen the series? This is a prequel that takes place between season 2 and 3.

Well, to his defense, his location does state Niger, so I'm probably guessing "probably not".

As of right now, The Plan is the final project for BSG. And frankly, it's doubtful that any future movies/specials can be conceived considering the way the show ended and there really isn't any more prequel/backstory to tell. Most of the production crew including Ronald D. Moore have moved on to Caprica, which premieres next year.

Yeah as far as BSG goes it's over, everything plot wise they needed to tell is handled here. It was writen after the finale was written because they realized a lot was left unresolved. If they ever feel the need to do anything else aside from Caprica they have plenty to draw from, be it Kobol, old earth, or even our time.
Thanks for the info John and Don - Cheers.

Cool cover. Still sort of pissed this isn't in the complete series set though, seeing as how, well... that means it isn't really 'the complete series.'

oh i'm sure sometime in the near future, maybe even next year they'll release a new complete series and include it. hell, i could totally see them do this in time for xmas. lol
or at the very least however long caprica lasts and when its all said and done, they'll release an unber collection and have it all.

I hate when Tv shows do that. Spongebob did the same.
I met and talked a little big with Michael Hogan at this years Wizard World Comic Con 2009.

Looking forward to seeing this. Definitely going to buy since my Battlestar collection won't be complete without it.
I'm suprised at how popular this series is considering it's not as good as the original. But i'll give it another go.

Cough

The doctor got a hold of your balls or something Seymour?
The old ones had a lively camp appeal but wavy camera and c**p CGI cylons don't make for an improvement over the original really do they?

Ignoring the vastly superior writing, acting and musical score, sure.
But anyway, that's an interesting picture choice for Boomer. I know they plan on jumping around all over the timeline to answer questions, I wonder if they'll go deeper into what the episode was about, or that entire plot with her.

Pfffft, sure, if we were talking Babylon 5.

So true, rebel-scum. A few of his posts have tended to blind side people....on purpose perhaps?
