They based the set discription based on the press copy below the artwork, according to that copy, there are 15 hours of extras, they may still have a special episode called "Resistance" an episode that contains the webisodes plus other footage not previously seen in those websodes.

BTW, speaking of the press copy, is it just me or are they seriously going to release the fourth season of Sliders and the first season of Invisible Man on the same day as the third season of Battlestar Galactica? If so, does Universal think that all SF fans are made of money or something?
As to my last  paragraph I just saw on Amazon.com that they are going to release the BSG S3 set on March 18, instead of the 25th. Even though it's only a week, every little bit counts, I guess.

the one consolation is that the UK often got the sets much earlier than the US-and season 2 was released as one box-ahead of 2.5 in the US. Im not that big on extras, as I barely have time to watch the episodes
Also, instead of the Season 2 split costing $75 total , the UK price I received was about $50

The UK gets the better deal on any Doctor Who, new or old. We missed out on the 1/2 hour making of show that after each episode.

I hope so. Living in the UK we were blocked from watching them online. I had to go *ahem* elsewhere to watch them.

Well, I'm just tellin' ya.  Actually, I was a bit off on that airing gap.  I was about 3.5 months, as opposed to the typical month during the December break.  But still, because of the long gap, Universal decided to release the first half of the season in late December to allow people like you who only watch the series via DVD to catch up, or to bring in new viewers after the much talked about "Pegasus" episode.  

Uinversal is rerleasing the entire season this time because 1) there was no long gap between halves of season, and 2) the long gap came after the season aired.  So obviously no reason to split this season.

Now for the 4th and final season, that'll be a different story.  Due to the writer's strike, it's likely that the second half, at least the final 7 episodes may not air until 2009 if at all, but not's go there until that's confirmed.  'Cause I think they had scripts for 13 episodes before the strike started.  So it's likely that Season 4 may be split into halves for the DVD release.

Actually 13 episodes means 'Razor' and 11 regular episodes. So 9 episodes are yet to be made.

Yeah, if the webisodes aren't on here I am going to be really angry! I'll buy it regardless, even though after Exodus, it's basically the worst season yet with mostly filler.

Got this on R2 ages ago. Seems odd that the US market has got it much later than the UK. We didn't get the extended 'Unfinished Business' episode though.

UK release did have a 30 min season 1+2 recap episode which was quite useful.
