I so want to get the Blu-Ray complete series. But $350, daymn. Not in this recession. That's even more than what I paid for my Blu-Ray player.

Package artwork for the series set
I am most definitely saving up for that! Far too awesome to pass up. July 28th can't come soon enough!

I hope they release it in normal packaging too. I dislike all that fancy "where on can I put it?" packaging.
I know 3 or 4 episodes are supposed to have the extended cuts included.
No "The Plan" = "complete" fail. So they're releasing this when in a couple of months there will be one more BSG release. Lame.
4x12 A Disquiet Follows My Soul (about 10 minutes longer)
4x18 Islanded in a Stream of Stars (about 20 minutes longer)
4x19-20 Daybreak (about 20 minutes longer).

While I am very excited to get the BD box set, I'm wondering why they didn't 'The Plan'. I know it doesn't air until this fall, but it might have made for a really nice exclusive to entice people to get the box set.
Great. I'm slowly plowing through seasons 1-4.0 (currently half way through season 2), avoiding spoilers and now I know Baldy gets a poke in the eye at some point judging by the packaging.
So I'm guessing that Seasons 2.0 and 2.5 as well as 4.0 and 4.5 will be combined into 1 season each so that each season gets its' own side?
I'm tempted to pick the seasons up individually, but the complete series will look too cool.

Fortunately I sold my Seasons 1 and 2 DVDs for a combined total of $98.52 to apply to this monster. I hope it has all the same bonus material as the DVD season sets.
Amazon has the DVD's for $31.99 for the 4.5 and $181.99 for the complete series.

I say that it probably will, so if you want to save some money and if you have the other sets (one, 2.0, 2.5, three, and 4.0) already, then I would suggest that anyone else skip the complete series and just get the 4.5 like I will since I own the other season sets.

The Plan isn't going to be released on the SciFi Channel until this November, so it is technically not a part of the fourth, or any other BSG Season. There may yet be other issues as well, the movie may not be finished in time for the complete series and the 4.5 season set releases, and there may be some contractual issues such as that any BSG project has to have a television release befoe it gets released on to home video.

It's more than just a "poke" and it happens early in Season 3, and that's all I say.

What I really hate is sometimes they have key scenes in the opening title montage....
Mmmmm ....... Definitely will wait for the UK released since it is, very importantly, CHEAPER (and no VAT for foreign!)!
And it don't come with those unnecessary though nice packaging, that is not good and probably will damage while shipping! 2 months is not too long a wait.
