Not a BAD movie, the family really liked it and there were a few shining moments, it definitely does not have the appeal nor the fun of say "The Incredibles" or "Ice Age", but for what is was supposed to be it does a fine job, great animation, some funny humor and cute dialogue help propel it along just fine. Probably the funniest point, or most enjoyed from my family was the tranquilizer darting of a spoof-esque look-a-like Winnie and Roo at one point, had us all laughing out loud.  

The artwork for most major releases is the same Internationally. Hardly anything new there.

I actually liked this film quite a bit, maybe even more so than the overrated Ratatouille. It somehow felt really new and fresh although it doesn't differ from most other films like it when it comes to overall story arc. Might just buy this.
