Fox Home Entertainment has announced the 1st season of Better Off Ted for the 1st December. Retail will be around $29.98. Each of the 13 episodes will be presented in 1.78:1 widescreen, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. As far as we know, no extra material will be included on this one. Synopsis

Quote: As head of research and development at Veridian Dynamics, good guy Ted Crisp (Harrington) leads a quirky team of the world’s smartest scientists on a mission to make the impossible possible. This is coming back, right? I know ratings weren't the best, but ABC renewed it. They should add it to their Wednesday night comedy block once they cancel HANK. I watched the first couple of episodes and enjoyed them, but didn't continue watching because it was on during a night I usually worked. Will definitely watch it on DVD though.

I might have to buy this just for "Racial Sensitivity". It was probably the funniest episode of television this year.

The series start a little slow with two clumsy episodes (too much narration in the pilot, too much loud screaming in the second one) but after that the show in on a roll, especially the "Racial Sensitivity" episode, which might be the funniest thing a sitcom has done this year.
