They switched director's three times. Norrington did Blade, Del Toro did Blade II, and because he wanted to do Hellboy they got screenwriter Goyer to do Trinity.
blade rules
the blade series is some of the best vampire movies i have ever seen and i know that blade 3 will be the best i wonder will these one disk copys have some extras or just the movies either way i dont care hopefully in trinity we can see blade fight at his very best and nothing less hey that rhymes

its like the best. so much action and violence. That club scene in blade 1 just ruled! cant wait until blade trinity. But why did they switch directors?
Well, I think this post pretty much explains the rest of Giovanni's posts. Example..."Yo i love the blade series its like the best."
I'm surprised you didn't say, "Blade sucks, sucks, sucks..."

I knew something like this would come along. Thanks New Line.
Yeh, but aren't people being ripped off by NL including the single disc instead of the 2-disc platinum edition of the second one??
the extra disc with blade 3 coverage does sound enticing.. but i'd rather stick with my copy of blade, and blade 2 PE 2-disc... though i wouldn't mind trading in my snapper copy of blade for the amaray

It's not a cheap "we've added more extras!" thing that Universal does. It's just a simple thing that packages the two and adds a bonus disc that has some stuff on Blade 3. I like that. It's good for people (like me) who don't own the first two and it's also good so that that people that own the original discs don't feel like they wasted their money on the first release.
OH my god. Its David Molinaroloro or whateva ur name is. WTF wont u just leave me alone. I mean damn. So now ur saying that i am not supposed to say a movie is good or bad.U are a Loser.Stop friggin bothering me and go get a girlfriend or sumthing.

Wow, both Platinum Editions repackaged with the bonus disc. I don't have either of them.

I have the first one and I have always wanted the second but I think I'll buy it alone even though there is a preview for the third film.
They already said they are coming out with a TRILOGY boxset next year.
Save your money and wait.
Save your money and wait.
I'll pass. Don't want the single disc version of Blade II, though I do want an amaray case for Blade. I'll wait for the trilogy methinks.
Ohhh it's just the single disc version of Blade 2. Didn't notice that. I was probably gonna hold off on this too anyway. I'm expecting a trilogy pack also.
I already own the first two Blade films, so I'll pass on this, but I do plan on seeing Trinity when it's released.
Guys, behave or they'll be trouble

Seconded. New Line really should start replacing those ugly snapper cases all their early Platinum Editions (Blade, Dark City, The Cell etc.) came in with amarays.

sorry tom, i had to state my opinion to david
Ok I am sorry too. But tell that david guy to leave me alone.
It's obvious why New Line is doing this, BUT since most who will go see Blade 3 already HAVE 1 and 2 on DVD and you dont get as much here as you would already have, they should have bundled this disc with another big new line title thats debuting around the same time.....thats called MARKETING
