This looks really bad. I'll probably check it out on DVD though or wait and watch it on TV.
The Covenant had an excellent set-up and a really cool backstory. It's too bad the whole movie fell flat on its face. It's as if the filmmakers didn't know where to go with the story.
Don't even get me started on the Underworld films. I will defend those two movies anyway I can. The first really blew me away despite the bad dialogue, and its predecessor astounded me and is far better than the first. Wish they would do a second sequel rather than a prequel...

It hasn't even been released in France yet (nor is it announced !). And why a 15 deleted scenes bonus with a PG-13 cut, when the director whas saying there would be a R cut ?
Well, on the other hand... WHO CARES for a R cut if the movie is as bad as most of you say... ?!
And, what a beautiful cover... Naaaaa, just kidding !

I second that notion! Those movies really 'suck'.

i saw the trailer for this when is aw Rocky Balboa and everyone was laughing out loud.
Everytime I hear the title I think of the scene in Dodgeball when they are in the gym trying to figure out how to raise money.

Hilarious title and ugly straight to video cover haha
OH MY GOD! WHAT AWFUL ARTWORK! Agnes looks especially bad. It's so horribly photoshopped.
I do want to see this though. At this point the best I can expect is some mindless entertainment. It makes me so mad that they completely ruined the book, which was great, and didn't follow the story at all for the most part. I was originally looking forward to it until I saw the trailer. And the funny thing is is that they could have actually followed the book, had it set in a backwoods community, and not went all stylized and modern on us and it would have cost less, plus it probably would have made more money at the Box Office. This one bombed horribly and at the very least it wouldn't have made any less than it already did. Not only did they piss off fans of the book, but they didn't really please anyone in the process.
This could have been so much better had they followed the book, and I don't even need to see this to know that.
At least it will easily be better than the atrocious and dull THE COVENANT though.

Horrible cover and a horrible movie do not waste your time read the book instead.
the covers just keep getting worse and worse
Agnes Bruckner deserves better than this. She seems to be stuck in some really bad movies these days. First "Venom", then this.

The trailer for this was horrible and the cover art is even worse.Looks like a pirated movie cover.
That is the worst cover art Ive ever seen
Oh lord. Thank the heavens for Hollywood. It's like a free seminar on how to make lugubrious amounts of cheddar and yet still, sacrificing quality very efficiently.
What do you think is better? Blood and Chocolate or The Covenant?

I saw the trailer for this in theatres, but I don't seem to recall this ever getting released in my area. Everyone in the theatre laughed when the title graphic showed up. That's some really bad photoshop work for the cover.
Synopsis:
Quote: As a young girl living in the remote mountains of Colorado, Vivian (Bruckner) watched helplessly as her family was murdered by a pack of angry men for the secret they carried in their blood. Vivian survived the attack by running into the woods and changing into a wolf. Ten years later, Vivian is living a relatively safe and normal life in Bucharest, Romania. Vivian spends her days working in a chocolate shop and nights trawling the city’s underground clubs, fending off the reckless antics of her cousin Rafe, and his gang of delinquents he refers to as “The Five.”
Vivian’s life begins to unravel when she has a chance encounter with Aiden (Dancy), an artist researching Bucharest’ ancient art and relics for his next graphic novel. Aiden pursues Vivian until she relents and begins to see him, but she can’t bring herself to tell him the truth - and lives in fear of showing him who she really is. Even though Vivian has sworn never to kill, she is as much an animal as she is human, and her love for Aiden threatens to cast him to the very wolves who saved her life and who are waiting for their chance to hunt him as prey
