To all Boll haters, shut up and watch the new releases before giving your opinion.
Sure this movie is not the best of the best but it is a good enjoyable one nevertheless, and Boll is getting better and better after each release, so keep up the good work Uwe.
Can't wait to see Postal and In The Name Of A King

I want to see the best selling DVD of 2006 that made $5000001 at the box office...
The concept of vampires in the old west isn't even a new one, as anyone who has slogged through the sixties cheapie Billy the Kid Vs. Dracula can attest...
I actually wouldn't be all that shocked if this gets a theatrical release in (Eastern) Europe...
Damn this looks bad.

Let's see how you would react if he took a video game that you loved dearly and it made it an absolute cheesefest that is sheer torture to even THINk about. When you have experienced that, then you will know why people hate him.
Don't forget to mention that he's also a very bad director.

Well I don't play video games, but it's still idiotic to wish misery and even death (as I've seen many posters on the IMDB and AICN do) upon him just because he made a bad movie of your favourite game. So what? You still have the game! In a world with so much real misery (i.e. war, poverty, etc), it seems some people's priorities are seriously out of whack when they direct so much hatred, anger and energy towards a guy who just makes films.
Again, as I said earlier, no one's forcing you to watch Boll's films. If they cause you that much pain and distress, don't watch them. And like I said before, you still have the original games, so why don't you go back to those and try and forget about the films?
I've seen bad adaptations of books that I really loved (He Died With a Felafel in His Hand, About a Boy), and I've seen terrible remakes of great films (Burton's Planet of the Apes, for one) but that doesn't diminish my love of the original source material. But I'm not about to start making nasty personal attacks on those filmmakers involved.
Anyway, I know my comments won't make a difference to the hordes of enraged gamers out there who say things here about Boll that they'd never have the guts to say to his face. I just wanted say that there are far worse things in this world than just making a bad movie.

Best selling DVD?
Anyways, LOL @ this movie.
Anyways, LOL @ this movie.
boobies are cool. even fake ones
Well, I respect the guys' ability to get his movies financed, even if he may be devoid of any talent as a director (can't judge that myself though, as I haven't seen any of his movies yet).
I mentioned in a different forum that I wished he'd use his producing powers to get a Terry Gilliam-directed movie off the ground.
That'd be a funny as hell partnership, wouldn't it? Even if it bombs (which never seems to either faze or affect Boll) we'd still have a Terry Gilliam movie!!

How in god's b@lls does this movie get a sequel, yet Serenity doesnt't????? No justice in the world, none.

Still, its interesting how many people love to just trash him. After all, no one's forcing you to watch his films! If it wasn't for my own curiousity about all the hate, I'd have never been interested in checking out any of his films in the first place. Sure his films are generally not that good, but I've seen far worse, not to mention far more offensive films than any of his.
Then again I've seen four Uwe Boll movies (Heart of America, House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark and Bloodrayne) compared to three Orson Welles films (Citizen Kane, The Stranger and The Trial). What does that say about me? :-P
All humans have (and deserve) the natural right to bash uwe boll and his so-called "movies." hahahahaha.

Uwe Boll is such a bad director that he doesnt' deserve to make straight to video movies, not even a tv commercail
Boobies!!
This Toilet Boll character knows how to pick eye candy tho. Freakin' Kristanna Loken and now Natassia Malthe--these are fine ass babes/b***hes. Watch Malthe in Skinwalkers, Elektra and in DOA.

I also respect this guy, even HOTD was a laughing out loud movie because of all the bad acting; but honestly i liked Bloodrayne and will give a shot at the sequel, but i can't wait to see In The Name Of A King (Dungeon Siege) and Postal who happens to gave good reviews :-)

The Columbine movie you're thinking of is Heart of America, aka Home Room. It's honestly not that bad and has some good performances and couple of powerful moments. That said, there's a lot of clumsiness as well, like a corny voice-over bookending the film with accompanying text. Still, it is worth checking out.
Uwe Boll does it again. I guess Kristanna Loken couldn't be bothered to reprise the role of Bloodrayne.
From the Razzie Award Nominee two years in a row (Alone in the Dark 2006, Bloodrayne 2007) as worst director of course
HAHA,
Only Uwe friggin Boll would make a sequel to a complete train-wreck. Uwe is an entertaining director though... you just can't wait to see what VG franchise he's going to ruin next! Atleast he didn't get his hands on "Hitman." Lets see how that turns out.

I've got the perfect tagline for this..."And you thought the first one sucked."
All I can say is Oh Dear God!

I haven't watched one yet though, so I cant say which ones you should watch. I know that one is based off the Columbine massacre though, so I'm not completely sure if it's a good one.
I'll but it when it's $10 and udner. I just love Uqe's films. It's such mindless fun. Hm... Maybe I'll watch House of the Dead tonight.
smirk.
Talk about some false marketing to get people to pay attention to this DVD.
I still like the breast implants comment that Bouncy X made.

Crash is pretty terrible, but Uwe Boll is really easy and more fun to trash.

if you need to include a game worth $25 to sell your $25 dvd you need to sit by yourself and think about life for a while.

They need cooler blurbs to promote this film. How about "The sequel to the movie that nearly bankrupted Billy Zane's production company!!!"
BloodRayne 2....it's the end of the world as we know it.
Whom ever asked why people hate Uwe so much...
People hate Uwe Boll and his movies so much, because he makes Paul W.S. Anderson look like James Cameron...
And that's no good for anybody.

It looks balls but a hot chick in leather does it for me, so I'm renting this.... or maybe download it or something. I'd let her boot my f**king kidney in!!
I don't know what's sadder. This DTV sequel being released for a movie that should have been DTV or that Uwe Boll actually took the time to direct this after the first one was trashed and bombed.
I want Uwe Boll to direct a non video game based movie for once just so I can judge him fairly.

Wow...so is this Deliverance going to have the weird hillbilly kid with the banjo? Every time I see another "Uwe Boll classic" hitting the dvd market all I can think is "Go Uwe Go!.....and take Brett Ratner with you."
Uwe Boll's only real talent is to show the world that he's still incapable of directing and bringing to the screen a mildly unbearable adaptation of a video-game based movie. All we got so far was abysmal. Man, even Ed Wood wasn't THIS bad.

ughh why why why give this man more money ??
Okay, okay, you guys can laugh at me. But I respect this guy.
Boll makes his films for two reasons - one, he makes them for his fans, and two, he is just following his dreams. The guy's determined to follow his dream and he isn't letting people (mainly critics) stand in his way. He tells them basically to put up and shut up. I don't see why people hate him.
That being said, I didn't recognize it after I watched Bloodrayne. Alone in the Dark was fecking horrible, and so was HotD. I must say that after Bloodrayne (which wasnt all that good either, but my favorite of his videogame films), I have found new respect for him.
Oh, and I'm looking forward to Postal. Sorry but just the premise makes me laugh. Plus to see Uwe Boll fight any critic is definitely worth a look.

At least they got "A Heart Stopping Adventure" right.
The only thing more scarier than the prospect of a BLOODRAYNE II.....is that of a BLOODRAYNE III. Which just so happens to be in development as we speak. See for yourself.

I wish someone would throw away a few million so I could make a movie. I would make "From Justin to Kelly 2: Electric Boogaloo". The action-packed sequel to the 2003 #1 smash hit!*

I like how it says that it was the top selling action DVD of 2006 with box office less than $5M. That is like being the smartest kid with down syndrome.

Wait... "the action-packed sequel to the hit 'BloodRayne'"? What is this bullc**p? It might have been a hit in the Czech Republic or some random third-world country, but considering that the movie made twenty bucks at the worldwide box office does not make it a hit.
And I just noticed the footnote on there. BloodRayne was the highest-selling DVD of 2006... among movies that made less than five million dollars at the box office.

This looks like a real classic for the ages. *rolls eyes*
I was under the impression that Dead Man's Chest was the best-selling DVD of last year....???
All hail Uwe Boll...the greatest director to have ever lived!

Ha from director Uwe Boll as if thats a selling point. Putting that in there may hurt DVD sales.
Best selling live action DVD of 2006??? Too bad the source for that stat is too small on the pic, because I'm very curious where that number came from.
