Synopsis
Quote: There’s no money in a “real job.” So George Jung deals pot. Lots of it. The blue-collar kid dubbed Boston George spirals up from there, into the riches and excesses of the huge cocaine cartels. And crashes hard. Johnny Depp portrays George, the ambitious outlaw who, perhaps more than any American, transformed powder cocaine from relative obscurity in the U.S. into a 1970s/80s feeding frenzy. Penelope Cruz costars in this riveting, fact-inspired tale of glitz and glamour, fast times and hard time, betrayal and Blow.

New Line has to go back for changes on this.
Yes.
Good News: No more of New Line's region-locking nonsense.
Bad News: No DTS-HD MA 7.1 which is the norm for New Line titles, even older ones are being remixed these days AFAIK...
Imagine Warner releasing Lord of the Rings with a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack instead of the lossless 7.1 one I've heard many times is sitting around and waiting.

At the end of the day, we are being ripped off if they cannot put on the best audio the format can allow (mind you that is letting alone the fact they may not have produced such an audio track...)

well clearly New Line is a division of Warner so that doesnt surprise me.
I know, that's the point I was making - it's the first one I've seen come through since it was announced back at the beginning of the year...

Bludcrimson, you were warned about your conduct in multiple threads before this. I've received four complaints about you today alone.
What are you jackoffs talking about "loseless audio"? Its 5.1 get over it. If you need more suck some dix.
Depp was great in this, will pick this up
This is the first New Line release I've seen with the Warner logo parked in it's usual space on the spine...
i never had a chance to watch this... i might pick up a regular DVD...
I know!! That is really c**ppy on there part. I still will buy it because im a sucker for Blu Rays.
No loseless audio?? That sucks!
I'm probably gonna have to pass. What's the point of getting a Blu Ray if you can't maximize the audio potential??
Come on Warner what gives??
