This is only worth it if Casino Royale is uncut. Its been released twice in the US, and UK, both times in a cut form. I hope they release the International Cut; a set like this demands it.
I don't think this set is worth it. Some of the James Bond movies are good but not all of them. I think I will pass and just watch "Skyfall" in theaters. James Bond gets boring if I watch it over and over again.
@saccyind As far as Ethan Hunt in "Mission: Impossible," TBTH, they did four tries and they finally got it right.

james bond SUCKS Ethan Hunt Is Marvellous
Can't find a flaw in this set. Even the price tag seems efficient. Will need to save some money, though.
Man, I'm sooooooo glad I never bit on the DVD Collector's Sets. This is the one to have...
play.com is £99.99, Oct 1st 2012, dearer than Amazon UK then @ £89.99.
I lOVED the old MGM dvds that had the collectable booklets and all that. I know they had second dvd releases too but u cant beat those originals, just had a classy feel. Lets see, starting with Connery how many of his still havent come to BD? I know You only live twice and diamonds are foever havent. Moore still has octopussy and maybe one other. On her majestys i dont think came either. Dalton's bond never had living daylights out. And tomorrow never dies never hit Blu either. I know best buy did a few blu exclusives. Either way I agree i don't want a lot of these. I'd rather have individual releases.

MGM went under and Sony has the rights to most of their titles now. Fox has some of them too.

I'm torn regarding this. Only a handful of the Bond movies can be classified as "good" with most of them being either "average" or "dismal". I would argue that only Casino Royale and From Russia With Love are excellent. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean I don't want to watch Roger Moore's wrinkly face in 1080p fight a blonde Christopher Walken!
Having owning almost 1,100 DVDs, I swore I'd never convert to Blu-ray. That was until I received a Blu-ray player for Christmas. Seeing as the only 007 movie I own on DVD is 'Quantum', this set is an absolute no-brainer.
Amazon UK are pre-ordering it for an amazing £90, which is about $137.
For 22 Blu-ray movies, it's pretty damn good.

Amazon has it available for pre-order at $199.99. I guess I'm buying these movies again!
Time to save money, 'cause this baby won't go for free.
Just please tell me they are going to release these individually too. All I want on Blu-ray are the Connery films, and we've waited long enough to have to last couple released.
Awesome can't wait
