of course i'm sure someone will chime in with some half-assed geeky reason why i'm wrong and stupid for thinking that. or something along those lines.
Bouncy, you're wrong and stupid for thinking that :-p
Just kiddin' dude. My bf bought Halloween on Blu-ray and I watched it for the first time last month. It is a dull film, but it does hold its place in horror-film history. It's also the most successful indie film ever made.
As for Boogeyman 3, I haven't seen any of them. Plain and simple, I'm not a big horror movie guy and these just look like tripe to me.

The first one suffered from re-writes and also had extra work put in at the end as it originally didn't screen too well...
Doesn't look good for the third...

I liked the first Boogeyman. Didn't see the sequel. It's a guy in a mask killer horror, and should not have been given that title. I don't know what the third's gonna be...but I saw the trailer on upcominghorrormovies.com...and it looks like sh*t.
I didn't like Boogeyman 2 all that much so I'm going to avoid Boogeyman 3.

well thats not really surprising in horror is it?
i mean Halloween spawned 7 sequels and a remake, and Friday the 13th spawned 9 sequels, 10 if you count Freddy Vs. Jason...and also a remake. lol
Okay you honestly think the original Halloween (1974) sucked? Honestly...have you seen the original Halloween? I'll give you friday the 13th and all other slasher movies but wow...
Halloween came out in 1978.
Yes it did, type-o.

Well, no I mean it is all matter of opinion. And I'd say you're right in your right. Just call me surprised for it to be slumped in with the 80's slasher sleaze. Or for that matter the sequels of the boogeyman remake haha...

lol..i knew someone would mention that. but yes, i find the original very boring c**ppy. i respect its place in film history, especially horror film history but yeah its a very boring movie, i dont get the love or praise. but thats the beauty of movie tastes, its all personal, no right or wrong.

well with that 3rd fist hidden in his beard, who can blame him.

F**kin hell, the 2nd one is on some UK channel tonight, might give it a bash. Or might just settle for a wank instead.
still haven't seen the second one. I'm surprised they have a third one so soon.
Agree, the 2nd movie was surprisingly good especially with the addition of Tobin Bell.
These movies are at best rentals. I'll definitely rent it when it comes out.

WHAT?! there is no actually boogeyman?! my childhood is ruined.
spoilers beware....
will this one feature an actual boogeyman this time? because i was sorta bummed how part 2 was just a slasher with someone pretending to be the boogeyman. i enjoyed the first movie's whole thing with the boogeyman using closets to move around the world. granted it was basically ripping off an old Real Ghostbusters episode but yeah.
lets hope this third one is back to the supernatural.

I quite enjoyed Boogeyman 2. In my opinion, it was MUCH better than the original. However, this looks like a rental at best.
