Not terribly difficult to understand that it was just semantics when they said it was going to be one season split in two.
You're wrong dude, this set is in fact, the first half(8 episodes) of season 5. Season 5, by the way, consists of 16 episodes - the final 8 begin Sunday, August 11th.

...
AMC said that all the remaining episodes were season five. Feel free to use Google to do research before posting b***hy replies to people.

Yeah, just like the last season of The Sopranos. I don't care what they call it to be honest, it's Breaking Bad.
Well, the original announcement, and the only concrete info to date was that season five was picked up as the final season consisting of 16 episodes and would be aired over two years, so that's what they are on about, the facts.
Season 5 was definitely split into two seasons. They'll likely call the last DVD set "The Final Season"
What are you on about? I'm pretty sure they have just shorten the two last seasons, so season 5 is done and season 6 is coming up next. It might not technically be what it is, but I'm guessing that's what they are going to call it, considering no mention of "Part 1" on this cover.
I'm wondering if they've decided that the stuff airing this year is going to be season 6?
*sigh* not even a mention of being "Part 1" of season 5.
The whole split season thing really has to end. If the writers and such all want more time to work on the show why don't they like, start airing it later?

7958NHZY, i agree. total ripoff.
Who would buy just a half of a season for $40+?
