Dear God, before I had a sense of relatively good taste I watched this movie over and over again. I watched it recently and cried. It's....(sobs uncontrollably).
I actually kind of like this movie better than the original. Jackie Mason is funny, in a reaaaally dumb kinda way.
Maybe it's just because they played this one on HBO all of the time when I was younger, I have just grown used to this one. Late-80s comedy is something I am very easy on (I actually looked forward to new "Police Academy" releases).
Oh well. At least I don't feel ashamed.

Thanks for casting judgment. I didn't mention anything about people who enjoy this being insane or anything vaguely along those lines. I just don't like it anymore.
Worst.
Sequel.
Ever.

Never saw this one, but I thought the original was kind of underwhelming for all its' reputation. The original Vacation is funnier than this movie and Ghostbusters beats them all.
This movie sucks so bad. An insult to the original, which was actually funny. The gopher couldn't even save this one.
no Murry, no Dangerfield = no comedy
Saw this on Five here in the UK last weekend, was the first time I had seen it for years.
The original film had some funny moments especially with Bill Murray, this was dire, gave up half way through.
I presume the rrp quoted is an error as they would have to price this well under £10 to sell it unless they are packaging it with the original.
We don't even get the anniversary SE from R1 of the original here which had a good reunion documentary on it, our version is still bare bones.

Tyler said it perfectly. The original is underwhelming for it's hype, and this one is untouchable for me. Painful.
Run and Hide! I forgot Akroyd jumped into this. Chase is barely in the film from what I remember.

The RRP comes from a retailer's website. I think they screwed it up.

Attack of the 666 I think.
New here thought it was about time I joined in the fun.
