Its a greek tragedy movie. Woody seems not to want to make woody movies anymore. This movie could have bin made by anyone really, and it looks/feels like a tv movie.
Looks a whole lot more like Before the Devil Knows You're Dead than Eastern Promises.
I don't know anyone who's seen this. Did it ever come out in cinemas ? I like Woody and the actors.
Better Cover, but agreed that it is so Eastern Promism
I like everyone's eyes they are so... dumb. Eastern Promises had a sucky cover too.
Woody Allen will be remembered better if he waits 5 or 6 years and creates one movie. Like maybe it would actually be decent.
Hannah and Her Sisters, Sleeper, Annie Hall... all his best are now decades old. Nothing recent has been great.

Well at least the revised art is much much better.
i was going to say "Eastern Promises called. it wants its cover back."
but
it looks like you guys already got that covered. so i'm just going to stand in the corner and smoke my bubble pipe.
good day.

The new artwork looks like Woody Allen's Eastern Promises
I don't think the revised artwork is worse at all, I like it much better. No denying its not the most original thing ever, and Colin Farrel's eyes do look pretty dead, which is weird, but overall I like that art much more than the original.
"Family is Family , Blood is Blood"
who the hell came up with that
who the hell came up with that
oh dear..

More than worse, it's a ripoff of the "Eastern Promises" artwork.

This movie was a terrible terrible film. It was directed like a really awful off Broadway play. Which is too bad, because "Match Point" was great.
I've never been much of a Woody fan, but I did enjoy Match Point - probably because it doesn't really seem to bear his fingerprints. Cassandra's Dream seems like it follows in the same footprints so I'll defintely be checking this one out...also, a McGregor-Farrell combo sounds like an inspired casting choice...
I love Woody and so will blind-buy this, but again they didn't go with the great poster for the coverart
Anyway, I hear his next film, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, is a return to his better days so I'm really excited to see it.
I'm huge Woody Allen fan and will definitely pick this up.
I liked this movie well enough. That is some pretty ugly art, though.
I liked this film better when it was known as "Before the Devil Knows Your Dead."
I loooove Woody Allen but this was pretty bad.
Bring back the days of Manhattan, Annie Hall & Zelig!!!
Having seen all Allen's films, I'm sure this is another in the line of hits or misses... I will sure check it out though.
Yeah, these days it seems like all of Allen's films get very limited releases. I will most definately be checking this one out.
It's so weird, I never hear about any Woody Allen films until they are coming to video. I like some of Allen's films...so I'll be sure to rent this one.
