I own all of these already, including the excluded "The Prestige."
Insomnia Is THE BEST Acting Work Of Legend Pacino..........THE BEST
I just realized I have never seen Insomnia.
I have all Nolan's films, save Following (a very nice movie, BTW). And I think out of all of them, Memento is the only one that isn't Blu. So while the book and the price of the set seems tempting, I will avoid this.
Having said that, I love all his movies and The Dark Knight Rises is my most awaited movie this year, even above The Hobbit.

Thank you! I haven't seen it in theaters, so I couldn't figure it out.

Considering the amount of money Warner made and never really gave any of these films the treatement they deserved on Blu-ray (such as lengthy making-of documentaries), I'll say PASS until they change their minds... give or take 5 or 10 years from now.
I've been tempted to upgrade my Nolan Bat-films to Blu-ray, (especially since WBShop has them both for under $10 each right now), but I'm forcing myself to wait for the inevitable Bat-trilogy box set.
I've yet to see Insomnia, but the others I quite like, even if I think some of the credit toward Inception is unmerited. Like, I think it's as good as everyone else does, but not because it's all complex and whatever, I'm just a sucker for a well-structured action sequence, of which it had plenty. As for TDK, I can't figure it out: is the transfer god-awful, or is the movie supposed to look like that, what with the overblown contrast and ridiculous over-sharpening?

Weird to me; The Prestige was released by Warner here...as for the box set, I like all of them (haven't seen Memento for ages...), but I'm afraid Insomnia is the best one, at least on direction merits alone...

I've heard rumors over the last couple years that Criterion has something planned for that one. Not holding my breath though.

I'm skipping this. I'm sure WB will release the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy on DVD and Blu-ray this Christmas, as well as an updated Director's Collection.

This is a pretty good deal for anyone who doesn't already have any of Nolan's films, but I already got the Batmans and Inception. The extra swag and the $8 discount for TDKR, just ain't enough for me....
