Oh my gosh, I wanted to see this film BADLY! Never had the chance. Looks incredibly original. Might check it out. Like the cover art.
Well, had the movie not been a total lackluster in terms of special features, it would have been a nice rainy-afternoon flick... now, however, it's a forever pass.
i agree. this movie totally surprised me in the best possible way! it's REALLY good! i'm so burned out of the that "hand held/1st person" filming style in movies but in this movie it's done in such a clever way that it felt refreshing (if that makes any sense! LOL). and i will buy this movie because i loved it but it looks like (as a non-Blu Ray/HDTV owner) i'll have to acquire the director's cut another way........cough.
Incredible movie. Watched it three times at the movies. Definitely buying this.
I really want to see this. Not crazy about the cover art at all though.
this movie sucked
I dont mind the cover art, i really dont know what to think of this film. It was better than expected but still left me cold.
What are the folks at 20th Century Fox capable of? More special features than what will be announced, for sure!
So they're keeping the cover art? Looks like I stand corrected.

A third person.....
Ah ... I see it now -- funny how you can look at something and totally not see it for what it is, but then come back to it later and it's incredibly obvious. Or maybe that just happens to me?

exactly. it's the 3 characters in the movie flying around. the cover art is fine. it's appropriate. this movie was VERY VERY good! i was surprised at how much a really liked it. it's very dark in tone and the finale is nothing short of epic. this is a must own.

I don't dislike the cover, but this poster would probably be the best bet http://www.impawards.com/2012/chronicle_ver4.html
Or they might even use that one for the Blu-ray.
And cool film too, definitely worth watching.

Yeah, I sort of think this won't be the final cover art. Just like they replaced "We Bought it Zoo" after a few weeks...with an equally dismal cover. Hopefully this will get a better treatment.

It's clear they put more emphasis on the teenagers in the cover by having them resized, one of the reasons I'm not fond of this cover art. The poster was more subtle, unobtrusive, and mysterious. Still, one of the biggest surprises of the year so far.
I LOVED this movie, it was so much better than I was expecting it to be. But they should have chose any of the other posters for this movie as the cover art. This one just looks off.
Oh, and I don't know if Fox has confirmed this or not, but Blu-Ray.com is listing May 15 as the release date.

What are you capable of? --- Better cover art than that.
