In the future, youth gang violence is so high that the areas around some schools have become “free fire zones,” and not even the police will venture there. When Kennedy High School principal Miles Langford (Malcolm McDowell, A Clockwork Orange) decides to take his school back from the gangs, robotics specialist Dr. Robert Forrest (Stacy Keach, American History X) provides “tactical education units,” human-like androids that have been programmed to teach and are supplied with weapons to deal with discipline problems. 2.0 Stereo - fair enough, it is old
No Extras - what? Come on guys! A classic like this deserves something!

Kick ass. They should release the sequel as well as a double set for added cheese.
Is Stacy Keach the one from "Superboy"?
hopefully its the unrated
The "all new packaging" misrepresents the film as a post-apocalyptic Terminator. Unsuspecting viewers will be disappointed. Go read the review first.
May I be the first to say: Where's the Blu Ray?

Excellent! I haven't seen Class of 1999 in years, and now owning it on DVD will be all the sweeter! The first Class of 1999 was way better than that lame sequel with Sasha Mitchell (Kickboxer 2, TV's Step by Step)!

We've got a R2 review on this very site. It's actually a blast.
1990.
This film was a guilty pleasure of mine...prior to 1999. When did this sucker come out anyway? The '80s? I can't remember.
