I tried to see this on opening weekend but between the running time, some of the negative reviews (which rarely stops me from seeing a movie) & Superstorm Sandy being major factors for not checking it out in theaters, I'll settle for a Blu-ray purchase, not a rental. The 172-minute run time wouldn't be easy for a rental.

I kind of love this movie. I could sit around and pick apart lots of little things that annoy me, but I was totally won over by the experience. A bit shocked the Academy didn't at least give it a best score or editing nomination.
Must admit I thought it had already been released what with all of the copies doing the rounds. Opens here on Friday, so I'll toddle off to have look.
Didn't this come out last Oct 2012?
Why wait until May 2013 to release it?
That is a long time and like waiting for a movie to be released on VHS back in the 90's.

DVD art looks like the Hereafter artwork.
Finally! Underrated in my opinion, and I really hope those featurette's are somewhat lengthy and informative. The blu-ray art is pretty nice, still would've preferred the unaltered original poster. Can't wait to watch this again!
I'm one of the few who actually saw this one in theaters, and while I wasn't blown away by any means, I was still very intrigued while watching it. Definitely would welcome giving it another look, it is an awful lot to take in with one sitting. It'd be nice to watch it and not have to worry about potential bladder infections, cause there really is no good place to take a bathroom break without pausing it. Yeah, I'd say this'll be a good day before my birthday gift to myself.
I too am very much in love with this one.
The Wachowski Sisters haven't made a great film since the 90's.
awful dvd cover.
I wish they had better cover art, but I love this movie and I can't wait to see it again
I really liked this one, I'll probably pick up the Blu-ray for the extras. Another great underrated film that flopped.
Nice cover art for both versions too.

Its a highly thoughtful film made on the plot of a Novel. Specially from psychological point of view this movie has been.
