That was a great movie! Day one buy for the 2-Disc edition for me!
I don't like that Blu-Ray art, the colors don't seem right.
So, when it says the other additions will include "the 1-disk DVD," does that mean they all are including the full screen version because full screen is just pointless. Also, why does Blu-Ray even bother making Digital Copies anymore, most DVDs were smart & got rid of them.
This movie was very, very funny, but I would rather put my money in for "Where the Wild Things Are" and "Whip It."
This movie was really fun ... I was surprised by how much I really enjoyed it. Can't wait!
Why do they insist on including digital copies with blu-rays or dvds ? No one uses them. Why put a copy of a movie on a tiny little ipod or a PSP or whatever, when you could easily watch the dvd, or blu-ray, an a big tv or even a portable dvd player ? Just doesn't make sense.
Not that great of a movie. Pass
One of the most surprising movies of this year. I loved every second of it. 8/10
Cloudy with a chance of meatballs was fun, lighthearted entertainment, but not something I'd watch on multiple viewings. Also I'm surprised Sony isn't including the 3-D, it was the main selling point of the film after all. I'm even more surprised their releasing this in the first week of January rather than December. This would be more prosperous in sales if they released it before Christmas. Yet Sony are being idiots and releasing it in the first week of January, where sales are DEAD. Albeit, I do like the artwork and the 3-disc combo. Still, it's a pass.
I absolutely loved this movie, and will definitely pick it up straight away.
Pretty early for a movie hanging in the Box Office for almost six weeks. Will buy on Blu-Ray no doubt.
A DIGITAL COPY FOR A PSP?!? What a waste? If they are doing it with future Blu-Ray releases and they can't put digital copies on the computer? I'm not doing digital copy anymore!
Loved this movie. Will be buying on Blu.
HURRAH! Really loved this movie. Extremely funny and was just a bunch of fun. Totally picking up the Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack! This film had TERRIFIC visuals, so it should be great to watch!

I don't think they are including 3D due to the fact that whilst 3D in the cinemas has improved dramatically, the home systems are quite incompatable with them. Why ruin a good film with Red and Blue glasses that change the colours?

Highres artwork added
Not really a big fan of the same artwork for all three versions... at least it's good artwork, I suppose.
Great artwork. Blu-Ray cover is a bit darker than DVD cover.
I wish people would quit griping about the digital copies. I can't be the only one who saves them to my laptop, can I? Sure it's a waste of disc materials, but I absolutely love having movies with me on campus, when I'm bored at my parents', or when I'm too lazy to get out of bed. I only buy Blu-ray now, and being able to watch a movie I own away from home is great since my MacBook doesn't have a Blu-ray drive. My only gripe is the additional disc. Some of my movies have a code that requires no disc to download off iTunes. They really should switch to that method so as not to waste so much material just to use one time.
Stepping off the soap-box now...
I didn't get a chance to see this, but I will definitely add this to my Net-Flix and get it the day it comes out.

It's a waste because most people who can use a computer can rip a DVD movie to their computer. You might as well just buy it and rip it, or buy it then download it if you can't do that. Its just one more disc thrown into so many DVDs, it's more the just a small waste of plastic. Also it makes them able to throw in "2 disc" to alot of movies and not actually include anything extra but a stupid digital copy.
What program can be used to rip a movie to one's Hard Drive for Macs? Is it free and where can one get it?
How can one rip Blu-rays to one's Hard Drive on a Mac? Is it possible if you have a DVD drive since all Macs currently don't have Blu-ray drives.
Would love to get the blu-ray version if the price is lower than the 2-disc. If not, 2-disc for me.

You do know that 2 weeks before the release date Amazon's blu-ray discs are like $20 at the most. I got Coraline BD in July for only $19.49 and Watchmen BD for $19.99 at Amazon. I'm telling you Amazon is like Blu-ray heaven. Shoot, I'm getting the Transformers Blu-ray double pack, which is only $39.99 on Amazon.
