Movie was amazing. Cannot wait for it to come out on blu and all, but why change the cover?
I like Public Enemies...

That's premature. You're only talking about 2 films. Public Enemies is excellent though.

This is possibly the worst cover art I've ever seen. A shame for such a great film

One of the worst covers I have ever seen. The Dvd cover looked great.
Guys, I don't think the cover art is that bad. I think the background is creative, and I like how Max is looking past Vincent as if he's searching for help. Overall, nice way of mixing it up. The only criticism I have is that it almost suggests the film is going to have more action that it does...whereas the old cover suggests a calm tension between two people.
Anyway, Collateral was filmed entirely in digital, and it's going to look EXCELLENT on Blu-Ray!

this is one of the worst cover designs for any blu-ray! What was Paramount thinking??

Fox still need to get on and release Last of the Mohicans or Warner Brothers in The UK.

As with the bank heist scene in Heat, I can't wait to hear what the Club Fever scene will sound like with lossless audio in Collateral!
Wow, that is easily the worst cover I've ever seen. Cruise looks like an older, better-dressed version of Wolverine.
Hmmmmmm, I love Collateral. I have ever since I saw it in the cimena, the Cruiser is fantastic in it, as is Jamie Foxx. Plus Javier Bardem was great in the his scene (actually the first movie I saw him in). Of course its a pity it gets a bit run of the mill towards the end but the ride is so enjoyable I can forgive it.
The cover ain't the best but anytime I have that I just design my own, and its usually a damn sight better than most official covers.

I love the movie, but hate that cover art!! I'm still gonna get it on day one, though.

LOL. Now that will be ghetto still having a DVD logo on the spine when in reality it's a Blu-ray disc, in a Blu-ray case. Jejeje
Im not fully hating the cover. Just fully bothered that they got Jamie Foxx looking at "who knows what". In the direction that Cruise is coming forward and the angle Foxx is in makes it totally confusing. Would work better if Cruise was left ALONE in the cover. :/

LOVE this movie. HATE the new art.
Will buy anyway. Just sold my DVD a few months back.
I am surprised this didn't come out to help promote Mann's 'Public Enemies.' After watching that, I need to get that bitter taste out of my mouth with this release. I'll have to bum 'Heat' off my dad and actually watch that one all the way through, too, because those two are much better films than 'Enemies'...

I ALWAYS wondered why this didnt come sooner to blu ray. I wish they would give us some new extras though. Good flick(kinda confusing) but it gets too routine at the end. I actually was rooting for the villain in this film. Tom Cruise was bad ass. We still need insomnia, the weather man and matchstick men on blu ray. Two of the VERY few more recent Cage flicks. I would love to have them over on blu.
Ewwwww. Why... ohh Why Paramount!!!!!? You deliberately just f***ed up the cover. I want my ORIGINAL DVD cover back! http://popcritics.com/movies/wp-content/uploads...
P.S Jamie Foxx out of place. What is he suppose to be staring at? Cause for sure he is not looking at Cruise's character. WTF!

was waiting forever for this. I mean, I'll take it at this point. Maybe I'll just resize my old dvd cover and stick in the sleeve lol.
Completely awesome film. The cover is completely fugly though, the old DVD cover was great, no need to change it.
That is awful, there was nothing wrong with the DVD cover. . .
Yes! First Heat, now this! I'll take it! Bad cover and everything. As long it has a 1080p reference quality picture and Dolby TrueHD/DTS Master Audio, I'm good. Loved this almost as much as Heat....
WTF at that cover
Will be getting. Never actually saw it... although the DVD cover with Cruise sitting there looks much better.
I'll definitely get this, but eeesh yeah, keep the old cover please.
Wish they'd keep the original artwork, much classier. This looks like Tom Cruise has replaced Colin Farrell in Mann's Miami Vice 2. Ugh-ly.
Ouch! Poor Tom Cruise... what an ugly Photoshop job!
They should've kept the original artwork.
