pretty decent movie. nothing new or original but still a nice ride. Vera Farmiga is a goddess and she makes the movie. everyone in this i must say is very good. even the younger kids in this (kids can be annoying sometimes in movies which can ruin a movie....Dakota Fanning in WAR OF THE WORLDS for example) are likable.
oh and the BR art is god awful. the DVD art is perfection.

The cover art for the blu ray looks terrible wow
love the DVD art, hate the blu-ray cover art
A disappointing movie. All the genre cliches were present and correct, it offered nothing new. Worse than Insidious. It seems all these modern horror movies go overboard in the last part of the movie after running out of subtle scares and tension.
that clapping scene seems like it would have a good effect.....if it hadn't been showed in every single tv spot i ever saw for this.

Best movie of the year so far. Makes me wish Wan hadn't left the horror genre to focus on "Fast and the Furious" sequels.
James Wan is only doing "Fast & Furious 7", there's no indication he's committed further than that. I think he'll move on to "The Conjuring 2" after finishing F&F7.He just said in an interview that he's done with the horror genre after Insidious 2.

Quite liked this movie. It's an efficient genre exercise that does what it needs to do without a lot of fuss or frills. Sort of like a horror film version of the recent Dredd movie. The only major structural issue with the film is the limitation set upon it with the "true story" angle. If this hadn't been present, the ending would have been way more different and way more awesome. Without going into spoilers, the ending would have been the most talked about thing in the past year. Alas and alack. 'Twas not to be.
Blu-ray art is terrible. While that scene is terrific in the movie, it doesn't give you a good idea of the film.
DVD artwork is spot-on, though.

Freaking loved this one! I've had the Blu-ray pre-ordered for a while. Should make for a cool Blu-ray--the movie was gorgeous as balls.
I'm hoping that blu-ray cover is holographic, where the hands clap when you move it. Otherwise that just looks like a really awkward photo.
Don't hate the bluray art at all but damn the DVD artwork is nice. I'd be lying if I said this did much for me. It had like two big jumps scenes but otherwise I was bored by it.
