I don't know what I'm going to do with myself in the two months I have to wait for this: "What they don’t know is one of MacPherson’s “talents” is being able to tell, just by looking at someone, whether or not they are telling the truth."
Typical, soft image/headstrip and cops seemingly uninterested in the fact that they’re about to be engulfed in flames. Poor Sony.
Ummm...yeah. That's the wordiest synopsis I've ever read. If it took more than half the description to reveal the "plot" I'd hate to see it all played out on film. Sounds like a real winner (rolls eyes).
Val, I think you can do better.

Poor Val..what happened to you.
val is awesome! i'll probably see this eventually.
I'll think it will be entertaining to watch Val Kilmer in this one. He stole the show from everyone in the Comanche moon mini-series.
That plot sounds like a Steven Seagal film.I'll pass, but cool looking cover.Val is certainly one of the better actors of our time.
This reminds me,I need to buy Spartan.

Sam, I couldn't agree more you need to pick up Spartan. I'd never heard of it and just happened to rent it by pure chance. Val was superb and it also turned me on to director/writer of Spartan David Mamet's TV show "the unit" which is also excellent by the way .
As for the movie Conspiracy I'll definitely rent this on the basis of Val Kilmer is starring in it... Although fingers crossed its better than the write up.

When you read the synopis provided by Tom, you would almost think it was another sequel to the Punisher...

Quote: Two years ago, while on a special ops mission in Iraq, MacPherson, a loner and expert sniper, is saved from a bomb blast by Miguel Silva, a young Mexican man who has joined the U.S. Marines in order get his citizenship. Both men survive, but sustain severe injuries. MacPherson is now a shell of his former self, and has shut himself off from the world in his run-down Brooklyn apartment. Miguel, now his only friend, has been calling and begging MacPherson to move down to a ranch in Arizona to live and work. Realizing his life just isn’t working in Brooklyn, MacPherson finally agrees to join Miguel. When he arrives in the quiet, Western-style border town, Miguel is no where to be found and everyone MacPherson asks lies to him saying they’ve never heard of him. What they don’t know is one of MacPherson’s “talents” is being able to tell, just by looking at someone, whether or not they are telling the truth. Upon learning of a corporate entity that’s running illegal aliens out of town, MacPherson is determined to find out who’s behind the plan and to learn the horrible truth of just what has happened to Miguel, and he will not be stopped until all of those who were involved have been punished.
