It is actually very good. What you expected was exactly what I had in mind before seeing the film but it turns out, that the film not only met but surpassed my expectations. If you give it a chance, I hope you'll like it =)

Was wondering when this would get an announcement. Missed it in theaters, so this will get a prety high spot on my Netflix. Like both the covers and am glad they stuck with the poster; the best choice. Also, not that I even use them, but I think the Ultraviolet Digital Copies are becoming the norm.
No commentary?? Aww.

As if the regular stupid digital copy wasn`t enough??
I had one for both Harry Potter's. Basically, they give you a code, you go to the site and enter the code. Then, if you have an iPod, you have to download the Flixster app and log in (that is if you own an account). The thing is, it only works when you have WiFi. If you're using your iPod and the area you are in doesn't have WiFi, you can't access the movie.

UV copy sucks!
But still good movie. I'd give it a B. It's shot very beautifully and its more like a fictional study of how the world react to another plague than a typical three-act storyline.

One of the best movies of 2011 IMO. Going into "Contagion", I expected a melodramatic film clustered with A-listers, but it was absolutely nothing like that. What this movie accomplishes best is its tone/atmosphere, which was been described from others. "Contagion" is scarier than 90% of the horror films released this year just because of how authentic the events are laid out for the audience. The performances are VERY up to par. I wasn't disappointed with anyone. But the soundtrack, the soundtrack was to DIE for. Very, very original.
Now the one problem everyone has with this movie: Its pacing. I actually think the film benefited from its leisure-like pacing. I thought the experience was more eerie that way, just how everything is so quiet and slow-moving, it made me feel unsettled. All in all, this is one movie that deserves way more credit than it deserves. I wholeheartedly recommend it, 8/10

Good movie. Pretty disturbing. But I don't think it will have much replay value.
On the other hand, any flick that kills off the highly unattractive, rather annoying Gwyneth Paltrow can't be all that bad.
This movie needed more zombies.
Great Movie, will buy. It is a movie that was well written and acted that showed what I wanted to know what happens if there was an outbreak.
Watched it and it was truly frightening in the sense of how its topic COULD actually happen, but as a movie it was very much a downer and played off more like a documentary than any actual movie. Saw it once, that was enough.
Don't think this one will crack my top 10 list for the year, but I still enjoyed it for what it was. I think chopping off a couple of the less interesting character plots and developing other ones would do it some good. I also can't take a movie as seriously when you make Demetri Martin a scientist. But bravo to the score from Cliff Martinez who has had a great year between this and Drive.
Oh and UV digital copies = c**p

This was a good flick, much better than I expected, I like both covers as well. I agree it's very well paced and involving. Im not sure of the replay value. Also Warner doesn't just give DVDs the shaft, the past several blurays have been lacking severely in special features, even box office hits.
I missed my chance to see this in the theaters but I'll be checking it out when it comes out.
Good movie. Very thought-provoking, well-paced and beautifully shot. I had a hard time believing how short it was, considering the actors and storylines involved.
I just pray that Soderbergh supervised the DVD and Blu-ray transfers. WB's work has left a lot to be desired in the past few years on the DVD front -- people still buy them, y'know?

I loved this movie. I thought it was fantastic. I will probably get the Blu-ray, regardless of the stupid Ultraviolet digital copy.
was like watching a discovery channel program directed by m night shamalam. no offense.
