Lame
Love that cover. Looks like a nice little set.
It looks like a neat little set, but I'm not going to shell out another cent of mine towards this film. I'm content with my Blu-ray combo pack and only got it for $19 on Amazon brand new when it came out. If they offered something like more bonus material or an alternate cut of the film, then we're talking. Otherwise, this is just a scheme to squeeze the last paycheck out of customers.
I'm very happy with the Bluray I purchased already. Loved the film, I felt it really harkened back to classic childrens movies that were probably a little too scary for them, ala Gremlins. Monster House was another recent animated film which I enjoyed for the same reason.
Coraline had some great vocal performances aswell, Dakota Fanning and particularly I thought Teri Hatcher was great.

Did they really need to give this a gift set? I think I'd rather buy Watchmen: "The Ultimate Cut."

I concur. At least the Watchmen: Ultimate Cut actually has exclusive content that are worth the $35. I bet this box set will be priced near the same amount and what, it just has postcards and a booklet? Really? No alternate cut or more exclusive footage? Everything you need is the Blu-ray combo pack and it's only $20 on Amazon, I believe.

I'm actually buying the Harry Potter Ultimate Collector's Edition set when all eight films are going to be out. I'm passing on both this and the Ultimate Cut of Watchmen.

Unnecessary at its best. The regular Blu-ray is great as it is.
I love the film, but there isn't enough suppliments here to double dip.
WHEN we actually get 3D tv's at a decent price.... and they actually release a TRUE 3D version then I will buy that.

Is there any reason to buy DVDs on the week of their release anymore? Just wait six months (which is how long it used to take for a quick DVD release), and there will likely be news of a special edition. Rediculous.
The cover looks weird, like I know a ton of people would laugh at that.
I'd buy this, cause the movie was ridiculously amazing but I'll just wait for the standard DVD to fall in price.

A terrible double dip. Will stick to my regular DVD
I'd be all over this if I didn't already have the blu-ray.
Might get this, I never picked up the 2-disc (which had better artwork, by the way).
That was really fast. The last release of this was already jam packed.
I would buy this if I didn't already own the previous release which I have only watched maybe three times so far! If this came out on the same day I would have bought it but no go.
This was so not needed. I'm happy with my current Blu-ray copy.
Basically what were getting thrown at here are some fancy ass postcards and a "limited" (the magic word for gimmicks, even though its not really Limited) book. Oh Universal you can suck it! Instead of this double dip madness give us Atonement, Eternal Sunshine and a bunch of other HD DVD exclusive titles that up to this point we've so longed for.
Glad I waited before I bought the Blu-Ray. But I have to see the prices first.
Awesome! I'm glad I held out buying the 2-disc, definite buy. I loved this movie!
But I HATE the idea of the discs being cardboard sleeves. That's how I buy my bootlegs, not expensive special edition gift sets.

Love this film, but am happy with my collector's edition.

On a different subject, if I have my own RealD 3-D glasses, could I use those to watch a 3-D movie & if so, would it be better?

Cripes - that was a quick double dip release...

Nope, considering the technology used for the home video is the red and blue old-fashioned 3-D.
This movie, though, already looks 3-D in it's 2-D format anyways.
