Seems stupid. Will Avoid.
Help me Jebus! Mike Patton Did the score on this movie. I dont care if Edward d. Wood Jr. came back to life and directed this. With at Bonafide Patton score i´ve already got my wallet out of my pants, if you know what i mean. For the double edition that is...
Probably will just get the single-disc edition if I like it. The first one was funny, this should be too.

It's The Empire Strikes Back compared to some of the silly b*****ks I've seen recently,(looking at you, Terminator:Salvation). Re-watched the 1st once the other night on BD and there's some cracking dialogue that I missed in previous viewings.
Hopefully the UK release of Crank 2 will yield the proper artwork, Lionsgate US needs a boot up the hole for the shabby offering.

Incorrect. It was shot on a $20 million dollar budget and it made $30 million worldwide. DVD sales still to come. Yeah, its not a blockbuster, but its definitely not a bomb.
It still faded here in the States really fast. It was up against some competition that week anyway, so the low gross does not surprise me. Even with a measly 20 million dollar budget, it barely made around 13 here. I think it will do well enough on DVD though to make them consider another entry (even it is feasable or not). There is an old rule in Hollywood: never say never.

I don't know how a sequel to this was made. Death Race was 1,000,000 times better than this. Unless Blu-Ray and DVD sales are above. There won't be Crank 3.
oh noooo not another s**tty artwork

That is not true. What doesn't make its' money back domestically is usually considered a bomb. The DVD sales are going to have to save this franchise.
Maybe by Wikipedia definition. By that definition LOTS of movies are bombs. Apparently Terminator Salvation is bombing so far with its $144 million domestic gross. Maybe Superman Returns is a bomb, since it had a $270 million production budget and only made $200 million domestically. Golden Compass didn't make back half of its money in the US, but it made twice its budget overseas. If a movie makes back twice its budget overseas and is considered a bomb by your definition, then your definition is flawed in my opinion.
Anywho, I thought Crank 2 was fun nonsense but I have no real desire to see it a second time. It felt like it was trying too hard to top the first movie, and just became too ridiculous for its own good as a result.

Decent art work.

Yep 2 disc for me i hope they change the cover.
Not as good as the first film, but still fun. 2-disc possible buy.
It is s**t though.

Should have stuck with the poster art for the cover.

Loved the movie. Hate the artwork they used. I much prefer the original poster to the art they decided to use for the cover.
I thought Crank 2 was pretty good but the first one (imo), was better.
Easily the second best movie of the year, the artwork could've been better but still, i'm pre-ordering ASAP.
LOVE the artwork, fits great with the artwork from the first movie's DVD/Blu-Ray
Really this was a great film? I am shocked.
They couldn't use the original poster?
I liked this one more than I was expecting to, I'll pick it up.
I hope they do Crank 3d next
Nah, dont like the artwork. should be more....Crankish?
Artwork added
Crank sort of won me over by the sheer force of its will (and need) to be ridiculous. I would've bought it on DVD but I believe the R2 DVD is missing a lot of extras that are on the R1.
I'll wait for Crank and 2 boxset on BD.

Nice. the DVD comes out three days before my birthday
Lloyd Kaufman makes a cameo in this movie, which is a big hint. Both of these movies are like the studio version of a Troma film or something, which is hilarious. I didn't like Crank 2 as much as the first, but it was still entertaining.
This movie is f'n great! Way better than the firs, which I also love! Anytime I get to see Lloyd Kaufman on the big screen, it's a win! Gamer looks awesome!
loved this movie, loads of action & i was laughing all the way through it.
i thought the first one was garbage, so i didn't bother with this one. from the looks of the trailer, it looks like the whole thing was shot with a really wide angle lens.
Loved the first one. I thought the second one just simply went too far in places. Seemed to replace the comic violence with just well, violence.
If the HD of the first movie is anything to go by, this is going to look stunning on Blu-Ray.
As for Jason Statham, love him.

One of the most execrable films I've seen in many years.
Loved the first one - cant wait for this
you people are crazy. as soon as he "branches out", he loses his career. he is an action star, and i for one, am glad he's aware of that. dont look for schindlers list in an action movie, cause you wont find it. i think he's doing a bang up job (with the exception of "in the name of the king" & "chaos" ).
The first sucked. I don't think I'll even watch the second.
This is gonna rock on blu.
One of the best movies of the year.
One of the craziest movies I've ever seen. Loved every second of it.(though admittedly, kinda prefer the original) Cant wait for the Blu-Ray
Statham it hit or miss but i did like this enough. Will rent again but not buy. I did like transporter 3 though. He does need to branch out and try something else.
Wow, the trailer for this was simply awful. Not a fan of Neveldine/Taylor's previous work (including the repulsive "Pathology" ), but "Gamer" looks pretty interesting.
What's with Statham taking all these c**ppy action movie roles? The first "Transporter" and "The Bank Job" were the only good ones he did.

I can't wait for the Blu-ray.
