Quote: Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling lead an all-star cast in Crazy, Stupid, Love. Fortysomething straight-laced Cal Weaver (Carell) is living the dream—good job, nice house, great kids and marriage to his high school sweetheart, Emily (Julianne Moore). So when Cal learns that his wife has cheated on him and wants a divorce, his “perfect” life quickly unravels. Cal, who hasn't dated in decades, stands out as the epitome of un-smooth so handsome player Jacob Palmer (Gosling) takes him on as wingman and protégé, opening Cal’s eyes to the many options before him: flirty women, manly drinks and a sense of style. Despite Cal's makeover and his many new conquests, the one thing that can’t be made over is his heart, which seems to keep leading Cal back to where he began. Brimming with inspired performances, critics are calling this gem of a romantic comedy “a movie that understands love” (Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly).

Warner is really skimping on the extras lately. I didn't hate this movie but found it VERY overrated. The best scenes are with Carrel and Gosling. It gets very dumb and contrived at the end, almost felt like a sitcom.

I'm gonna go ahead and chalk this down as "probably alright movie that I simply don't have any interest in."
Ehh - I'll wait till it comes on Netflix: Watch Instant. All those actors are good in some films, but not all. Carrell - AMAZING in "Little Miss Sunshine," struggling in "Evan Almighty."
Meh. I heard the movie went well with critics, but it never really caught my attention. And with the new movies this summer, there was no way I was gonna watch this anyway. They should of put the DVD cover on the Blu-ray as well. If I were to have one reason to watch this movie it would be because of Ryan Gosling. What an AMAZING actor. Steve Carrell as well.
this was an ok movie. but there is one scene that totally stole the show. i am seriously considering buying the movie just for the one scene. it really was laugh out lout funny!!!
Loved this movie. Looking forward to seeing it again. Might go for the combo pack.
This was one of my favorite movies of the summer (and probably the year, to be honest). I was blown away by how it all came together. The cast is amazing (I went in only being a big fan of Emma Stone, and left being a big fan of Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling and Julianne Moore as well!) and the movie is hilarious but still sweet.
You'd think they would have stuck pictures of Marisa and Kevin on the Blu-Ray instead of adding second pictures of Ryan and Steve.
LOVED it! Will buy. Really funny and sweet. The cast is perfection!
I really liked it, specially because of Gosling. Great artwork too, love both covers, and all the posters too.
the movie only edition blu ray has the dvd cover
I actually missed out on that movie. Must Netflix this movie, must Netflis this movie!!!
