One of my favorite shows although the season finale was so gruesome (in the Silence of the Lambs vein. Actually, more horrific. I think the CBS censor took a nap), I'm considering not watching season 5. Still overall a good program. This was a great season with some very thoughtful episodes

Because murder is so much easier to take without a realistic amount of blood and pain on show.

Why, Paramount, must you hold us out on a real BD version. Whyyy? Pff. Like I'm going to spend my hard-earned cash on a *DVD*.
At least the artwork looks terrific.

I see they still haven't updated Paget Brewster's hairstyle on the artwork.
1st Poster: Why would you not want to continue with the show since you have gone this far? If anything the season 4 finale shows how realistic and gruesome some crimes can be. Would you rather have them water it down to a G-Rated level?
IMO, this is definitely one of the best procedurals on TV.

It's just the more realistic it gets the more it burns into my brain. Some of my favorite episodes of this show have to do with DRAMA. The Jason Alexander episode, Mandy Patinkin confronting the bomber who caused his breakdown, the season 3 ender/season 4 opener, or Morgan getting accused of murder in his hometown and revealing his past child abuse. They didn't need blood and guts to give you good TV. You felt it emotionally. I felt like the bloods and guts of the season ended was for a ratings boost or something. Sensationalism.
Dude? You're *way* too tense.
Great show and I've bought the previous seasons, but I'm kind of hoping for blu-ray versions now.
