Ninth season!? Is this still on the air? It's never going to end is it?
I'm one of those weird people that prefers Fishburne over Peterson! I've never liked Grissom and Fishburne's character fit so well you'd think he'd always been a part of the cast!
I tuned out for many of the episodes. I think CSI needs more punch to bring it back to what it was as a show.
I'm getting sick of the "Let's all stare at the freaks, gee, they are weird!" episodes. In recent weeks we've had Mexican Wrestlers, Sci-Fi fans and now Tattoos and Piercings.
And the comedy episodes all but have the cast pole-vaulting over that shark.

Grissom's shot looks identical to the season 8 cover. Also, I hope they're planning a day and date blu-ray release.
Reminds me of the X-files episode in Season 2 Humbug where they visit the sideshow...

the season overall is not as bad as some think, but not that great either
