Dee Wallace was very good in the mom role here. But, they (director, producers, or studio) wimped out on the adaptation (especially King's original ending in the novel). The artwork is somewhat of a throwback to the original hardcover book. IIRC, the theatrical release poster had Cujo written in blood on a white picket fence. I'm also disappointed that this is being released on BD ahead the superior 'The Dead Zone' by Cronenberg. Now that one was adapted beautifully, IMO, and Christopher Walken gave one of his best performances. TDZ is what I'll be purchasing (Cujo is maybe a rental).
As if the SAW covers are not gross enough. Compared to this? This is nothing.
Nah, the Saw covers I can handle. A little blood here, a little there. But, white, slimy saliva hanging from a dogs mouth. Yuck.
F**k, whatta creepy ass cover. Man I am still scared to watch Cujo.
What IS it with you guys on the North American continent and being squeamish about covers with nothing to be squeamish about...?

Might have to pick this up.
Ah, the very thought of a movie containing the gorgeous Dee Wallace (Stone) performing with a big dog...
