It's a good thing they're releasing the director's cut instead of the theatrical cut, but man.... That is one Godawful cover.

Don't check that no one else is adding this before you do Tom
I've 'fixed' the specs so that people can see the audio/subs.
For those wondering it looks like Fox is putting most of the extras from both releases on this. The following are missing:
"HBO First Look" featurette
"Character Profile: Kingpin" featurette
"Moving Through Space With Tom Sullivan" featurette
"Giving The Devil His Due" featurette (from the DC DVD)

Much better than the theatrical cut! Someone down at Fox is listening.
This will look and sound great if fox's recent releases hold true.

This cut is so much better than the theatrical cut.
I already own it on DVD, so I may pass on this. I have re-bought a select few movies to upgrade from DVD to Blu-ray, though. There may be a chance I would do it again with this.
And I do like the cover. The deep reds, the logo from the DC art, and the pose from the theatrical art work nicely.

Cool. The comic book creator doc is all I really wanted.
Terrible cover, but I found the Director's Cut to be a very, very strong film. Should have been released in theatres over the version everyone saw!
Hmmm... this has the commentary tracks from both the theatrical release & the director's cut listed. Maybe both cuts are being included?
I thought this was decent enough but i doubt i'll be in any hurry to upgrade from the DVD releases.

Not a bad cover, but I would have preferred the one from the original 2-disc DVD release. It was a little more colorful....Though the Elektra film blew elephant-sized chunks, I actually thought Daredevil was much better than a lot of people gave it credit for. Not anywhere near a Top 5 Marvel adaptation, mind you, but if I were to rank all the existing films in the canon, I would definitely put it above both Fantastic Four films, Spider-Man 3 and perhaps even Ghost Rider...
Speaking of Marvel, God I can't wait for Captain America!! In this post-911 world it continues to boggle my mind that a Marvel movie with such a clearly patriotic character wasn't one of the first out of the gate after 2001...go figure...

I bought this on DVD when it first came out. And I never watched it. :-(
The DC is a real treat, and one of my favourite comic book movies. Its brilliant!
I already own this on DVD, but if Fox is releasing this on Blu-ray with most of the special features from the two disc DVD, then I'll definitely pick this up.
This film is extremely underrated.

Cool artwork, horrible film.
I hope the rumors are true about a reboot of this franchise. Directed by The Frank Miller with Jason Statham as DD.
I thought the theatrical release was ok, a notch above elecktra.. However, the Directors Cut was pleasently powerful and fun. I will defenitly double dip on this.
Glad to see it's the director's cut and not the theatrical cut. Don't watch many Marvel Movies from Fox besides X-Men though.
the only good thing about this, is the scene with Jennifer Garner and BRING ME TO LIFE music
i got the theatrical cut on the walmart bin for 5 and i dont regret it, i actually liked it. ill be picking the directors cut on blu!
Liked the theatrical, loved the DC. They couldn't possibly make this look worse than the DC did on DVD, so anyone who wants Daredevil on BluRay will be getting a damn good copy.
When it comes to films, we have found that anyone with the basement mentality of: "no Garner sex-scene = NO SALE" is not only depressing, but actively supports the Foxy-Boxing industry.
Guess this makes the elaborate "Definitive Edition" look like a bare-face liar.

What is the true difference between The Theatrical Cut vs. The Director's Cut... really? I've seen the theatrical cut before but the only thing I remember was alot of Evanescence music in it, that's all. Truly people, what's the difference between the two?
Nice artwork

It's got extended scenes and an extra subplot with Matt Murdock.

I really dig this cover art. Much prefer it over those of the standard DVD's.
I own the DC, but I haven't yet watched it. I never considered Daredevil to be much of a disappointment in the first place, so maybe I should get off my butt and check out the DC.b

its about 30mins longer for one thing, and as someone else said there's en extra subplot, but there's also many little scenes and even changes of previous scenes.
i wont go and say its a completely different movie, but it makes for a different experience. and you get to hear bullseye actually say "i want a f**king costume" instead of "bloody costume"...thats worth it alone.

Will buy this.
the sex scene between Daredevil and Elektra isn't in the DC. it was filmed for the TC. The DC is great- the TC had problems without those 30 extra minutes. I do hope Statham does get to play Daredevil.
The Director's Cut is actually very good; I liked it a lot.
The Director's Cut is FAR superior. I'd definitely recommend it.
this is by far the worst comic book to movie ever made. god awful.
