Quote: The people of Lawndale just don't get Daria Morgendorffer. She's cool with that. See, Daria was born alienated, and now she's just trying to make it through high school with as little human contact as possible. Popularity, friends, activities... whatever. Daria lacks enthusiasm, but she makes up for it with sarcasm.

True, but there's still approximately 28 hours worth of material, so they'd need at least 7 or 8 discs for that

There's a regular sized Amaray case that's equipped to hold around 6 discs. There are two regular DVD holders on the inside, plus four inside flaps to hold the other four DVDs. Fox and Paramount have been doing this for their TV-DVD releases since late 2008 (like "Sabrina", "24", "Dynasty" and the "X-Files" repackaging) -- my copy of "Buffy" season 3 was in a regular Amaray case.
And don't worry about the discs being double-sided, Paramount rarely does them anyway.

Amazing
A Blu-ray release of Daria would have been nice. Sure, South Park gets Blu-ray treatment. I don't see why Daria shouldn't. Their both coming from Viacom (Paramount)

I buy both. And for TV series I'll just get the DVD's since the price difference for them is usually too much. And it's not like I'd need to own DARIA on Blu-ray.

People have stopped buying DVDs altogether? Gross.

Cool
Took them forever!! I was reduced to watching okay quality episodes on Youtube!!! Thank god for this!!
About time too. I love it so this is a sure buy. Finally I can throw my DivX files of questionable quality out. I just hope it won't be too expensive.
...I'll probably not get around to seeing the series again, but I'd like to have them on safely archived on my shelf...just in case.
Now I just need 'Life on a Stick' on DVD and I'll be a happy guy.

No, they never showed up in the series, I think they were trying to give the show it's own identity without having to refer to B&B
Daria always came across a stroppy, sarcastic teen who needed a good f**king kick-in...
The Wilson Bros
The Wilson Bros
Does she ever encounter Beavis and Butthead in her series? Or only when she's in theirs.
I wonder if they will cut all the music that was used in the show and replace it with generic music like they did with "The State"
This is too good! I love this show so much and it's about time it got a proper release! Woot!
AWESOME! It's about time. This was one of my favorite animated shows.
Been following this one on tvshowsondvd.com,, I can't wait! I haven't been this excited for a TV release in years!
