I can't wait to get this one- I skipped on buying the first releases and it is still on my watch list
This is worth it for the Frank Miller commentary alone. His thoughts were missing from the original releases.
this is why i rented rather than bought the 1st run through...will get this version tho.
Aw, s**t. Guess I will be triple-dipping, this October...
I got a killer deal on the individual parts, so I will not be double dipping.
"SALES WILL RISE"
......Really?
......Really?
Because give them your money!
In all seriousness I expected them to combine the two at some point, but did not expect a bunch of new extras. I think that they split this one into two because it was going to be longer than any of their other DC movies and splitting the production time made sense for the release. Note: I have no information to back this theory up.

I incorrectly assumed that WB didn't want to release a 2 and a half hour animated feature so they forced them to split it in two parts. Since that is not the case, why can't they make other animated movies longer than 76 minutes?
I never bought either one because this was just inevitable. It will be nice to see them put together into their original form rather then split so they could cash in first. I enjoyed both of them although part 2 was a little better in my opinion.
It is a dick move but in all honestly, why would you buy both separately to begin with?

That's a dic move DC
the intelligent question is why didnt they do this in the beginning? but of course they make more money this way.
i never bought either, only saw Part 1 on tv and i liked it so i might get this one.
