The only good thing about this movie was Eva Green's portrayal of Angelique.
This film is very alike to Tim Burton's other movies in terms of its gothic theme, Johnny Depp playing a misunderstood freak, and the death scenes appearing in a whimsical manner, but I still enjoyed it very much nonetheless. Definite buy.
I wanted a more serious Dark Shadows movie but this worked for me. It was a lot of fun but they did seem to cram a lot in 113 minutes.
Cover Art
I could be wrong but the BD cover looks like a slip cover so here's to hoping that the DVD artwork is on the actual disc packaging.
I enjoyed the movie, but it wasn't the Dark Shadows movie I wanted
I didn't catch this in the theatres. I am keen on watching it. I find Burton's movies very watchable, even though sometimes only for the visual aspects.
My 3 favourite Burton films are Big Fish, Batman Returns and Edward Scissorhands.

I liked this movie. It's far from Burton's best (being Ed Wood, Mars Attacks! and Sweeny Todd IMO) but still a very good film. The best thing about it was Danny Elfman's score though.
Did nothing for me, very forgettable film, much like many movies this summer. Short of the 3 superhero movies this has been a lousy summer. I did like the comedies tho believe it or not
I actually liked this movie quite a bit. Not Burton/Depp's best, but it sure as poop wasn't Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!
Wow... so much special features... Oh wait, I'll pass. Nothing of interest whatsoever here, just as predicted.
I had pretty much no interest in this movie...but I'm still gonna see it just for Bruno Delbonnel's cinematography.
Why didn't they use the DVD artwork for the Blu-ray release?
