Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($29.95) and Blu-ray ($39.99) releases of Daybreakers for the 11th May. Extras will include audio commentary with the directors and special effects creator Steve Boyle, a "Making of Daybreakers" featurette, a poster gallery and the theatrical trailer. The Blu-ray release will also include an extended feature-length version of the "Making of Daybreakers" that spans the filmmaking process, a short film from the directors entitled "The Big Picture," a Storyboard and Animatics film comparison and a second disc containing digital copy. I like the artwork. Most now a days are c**p.
I still feel awfully sorry for Claudia Karvan who continually would get called Claudia Karavan by Ethan Hawke when he was doing press for the film.

Anywho, I enjoyed this flick more-so than Sperig Brothers' previous film, Undead(the ending ruined it for me). I loved the concept and the roles being reversed where vampires are the majority here. The ending was pretty weak but a very entertaining movie. Definitely a purchase for me.
