well the Clone Wars cartoon airs in 1:78 but the blu-ray discs are 2:70. so maybe this is another similar case where they aired it differently than it was filmed.
IMDB states that it is 1.78:1 filmed on 35 mm.

Glad I never got around to getting this on DVD.
I would definitely upgrade if the R4 was a certain for commentaries and special features. I'm still reeling from the bare bones releases we got here.
