horrorfan25, you rule! very well said. machismo thing with some people is really sad and tired. but anywho...i didn't dislike this movie but i didn't like it all that much either. the trailer made it seem MUCH more epic and sweeping that it really is. Channing did alright and Seyfried is anything but overrated. she's wonderfully talented and SHE is what made the movie as good as i found it. the main problem i had was Channing's character (or just his acting..i can't really tell) is NOT charismatic or affable or even really likable. Seyfried's character IS all those things. physically they make a good onscreen couple but character-wise he was such a dud that i was wondering what her character saw in him (besides the fact he's hot! lol).
It's nice of them not to shaft people who don't have a Blue Ray player.
I'll rent this, then decide if it's worth a purchase.

I'm kind of surprised you didn't like "When in Rome". I heard a lot of guys liked that movie, including myself. I mean you are entitled to your own opinion, but I thought you would have liked it.

See Jennifer's Body and Chloe, then come back here and tell me she's not a good actress.

Nah, you still have your man card. My father LOVES the movie P.S. I love you, I enjoyed When in Rome, my guy friends LOVE Twilight and Titanic, and that's pretty much it. A true man also gets in touch with his feminine side.

Saw it on Valentine's Day and it was going good up until about 3/4 of the way in then it just faltered. It's decent enough rent for you and your significant other, but as a purchase, maybe cheap previously viewed. And that whole "man card" argument is utter bull I'm sorry.
Really wanted to see this in the theater, but I missed it. I like Tatum and Seyfried, and I'll probably blind buy.
Wanted to see this in theatres, but missed it. I like Sparks' sappy movies and I think Tatum and Seyfried seem like a believable movie couple. I will definitely rent this at least.
Don't really care for any of the actors so who knows???!!!
I'll rent it. I like Amanda Seyfried. She was great in CHLOE, which I just saw this weekend. It was a well-crafted adult drama and quite sexy. I recommend checking it out while it's still in theaters.
Dangit, I was so waiting for this movie to bomb, than I could make a Dr. Strangelove joke about the title, but it didn't.

Not out in the UK until mid-April, but i've heard mildly positive things about this. Seyfried and Tatum look like a convincing couple, going by the trailer.
Is it say if you are a guy and you have mild interest in this you never had a "Man card" to begin with?
Nothing worth purchasing, but this wasn't all that bad. Unlike 'When in Rome.'
