this movie is highly recommended... by me.... One of the best, if not the very best films about the failure of American society to re-integrate Vietnam vets into daily life. Plus, it has one of the best "dinner with the family" scenes ever put to celluloid.
"But when Andy returns home soon after, something may be horribly wrong: Andy is alive and well… or is he?"
Reminds me of the Wes Craven, CBS TV movie, "Chiller" (1985); a guy was put into cryo to save him; ten years later an accident happens, a tank malfunction. In that time a procedure has come into existence. He is cured, back to life.
But it looks like he came back without his soul.
