actuall yeah. i'm pretty sure this holds the title for the worst flop in history. i guess it cost a lot of money to make and didn't even break a million or something crazy like that. and it opened everywhere. it's actually sad because the guy who made it spent like 10 years trying to get it to be made but all the studios were turning it down.
Well, it opened the same week as The Dark Knight. Who wants to go up against that?
I haven't really heard anything one way or another about this, but it actually sounds pretty cool.... anyone know if it's worth checking out?
it cant be worse than IGOR or HAPPY N' EVER AFTER... right?
Looked way to complicated for kids, only made 5 grand its opening week and lasted at the theater I worked at, a grand total of 6 days!
In case you are curious about how bad this went...

Well it looks like an interesting movie.. better than..some of the sequels and other animated films that are made....the story is kinda like a Romeo and Juliet theme....I think I'll get this movie eventually....I mean historically speaking...some movies that didn't due well in theaters in time became icons of today....For Instance Disney's Pinocchio and Disney's Fantasia....Original Box Office Hits? Sadly no...are they popular now? HECK YEAH....not tha I expect Delgo to be that big of a hit in 50 years that Pinocchio and Fantasia are currently.. but still...worse movies have been made...in my opinion...don't judge a movie by its opening weekend earnings....
I'm surprised the creators got together for a commentary track after their "successful" debut with this flick... Glad they got the cajones of steel!
Wow, I kind of feel bad for this movie now, I'm sure it will be getting some cheese on DVD though, when I worked at a movie store even the terrible STV animated films would be sold and rented out for literally months.

No it didn't. Unless you mean The Dark Knight on DVD. Delgo was released in December.
Anyway, I forgot this movie even existed.
I feel bad for them though since it flopped so horribly so I hope it does decent on DVD.

It does have a nice cover art, though.
They seem to throw Freddie in every 3rd film...
