I thought this looked like the worst movie but when i saw it i was VERY surprised. I will buy BD for sure. It's taking a while, the 4th is actually my birthday but i would have loved this for X-mas. I know it would have done better in sales around then too. But yeh good little flick, gets a little long in the last act but otherwise very solid. Part of it is thanx to the great actors. Its amazing seeing Carrel play this kind of bumbling nerd then to see him choke full of confidence on the office. Thats a good actor

Steve Carell is always fantastic, but I wouldn't exactly say Michael Scott brims with confidence. To me at least he's a bumbling nerd (but not in the Dwight way) so this isn't much of a departure. But as you said he's always a different character like a good actor/comedian should be. Shame there wasn't much love for Dan in Real Life a film I really enjoyed and had a lot of depth of character for Carell.

Went into this one with very very low expectations and had a really good time. If you can give in to the complete idiocy of some of the characters, there is plenty of fun to be had. Jemaine Clement steals every scene he is in. It was surprisingly sweet too. I'll definitely pick it up when its on sale.
I'm the opposite.. I went in expecting it to be very comical and left a bit disappointed. Will still be buying it though.

i really wanted to see because of steve carell...but the more i saw of it...it just seemed like the movie wanted to be weird for the sake of being weird. so i opted not to see it. so with my expectations being very low...i think i'll give this a rent. i also really like jemaine clement...fotc...eagle vs. shark...gentlemen broncos.

Went in with moderate to low expectations, came out loving it. This was a good time at the movies, day one for sure.
Sucks that this film is getting released outside the holiday season and in the beginning of the new year. That's way TOO bad. Either way, I will probably be renting this. This looked very funny.
Trust me i HATE movies that are weird for the sake of being weird(smokin aces anyone?) but this isnt one of them
This movie wasn't nearly as good as it should have (or could have) been. There were a few funny scenes, but they weren't nearly funny enough to make up for the rest of the movie, which was awful in my opinion. But hey, to each his own. I don't regret seeing it, but I definitely wouldn't want to watch it again.
I went in with moderate expectations and was severely disappointed. Wasn't funny at all.
I thought it looked great at first and then I heard bad reviews from friends and one or two critics so I went in not expecting a whole lot but the cast looked good. I came out liking it but I'll add it to the long list of comedy movies that are good yet not good enough to get until the price drops drastically.
Gotta be honest. I forgot about this movie.

Didn't love this film. It had funny moments, but it's nothing I'd recommend.
