Lets hope this is the last of these stupid, stupid movies....

im ashamed to admit it...I found it quite funny!! The song ripping High School Musical was quite catchy,The CHimpmunk gag (While not a disaster movie) was the funniest bit in the whole movie!!!

Sad to say...but Im picking it up!!!

It's nice to see audiences are finally seeing Seltzer and Friedberg for who they really are: talentless hacks.

They really need to go back to film school and learn how to make decent movies as opposed to mind-numbingly awful "parodies" they've forced into the mainstream public.

I strongly believe that these are the types of guys who never got laid and now women under the age of 30 are practically throwing themselves to them.  "You made Date/Epic/Disaster Movie?????  And you have millions of dollars???  DO ME NOW!!!!"

I gave up after Date Movie.

All that can be said without ranting is 'Ugggh...'.

I actually like this movie but the people bashing it haven't even seen it. Ok, ok, I find these movies entertaining so just ignore my thought.

I too actually liked this, I saw it like 3-6 times, granted I work at a movie theater so I got in free. It was funny & Matt Lanter is totally cute!

I might get this opening day, pending on cover art & price!

Carmen Electra did do a strip workout video. So she is heading that direction.

I watched the first ten minutes of this `movie' and I cannot express how bad it was.  I've seen a lot of movies, including bad movies, but they were no comparison to the absolute dreck that was the first ten minutes of this movie.  I cannot overstate just how bad it was.  I've described to people what happens in the first ten minutes, and it makes me wonder who would think any of it was even remotely amusing.

And while I do usually argue that movies are generally subjective and you can't usually say whether it was bad or good, but just whether you liked it or not, in this case, it was BAD.  And to the two people who said they laughed, I'm sorry, but you might be legally retarded.  I suggest you get help.

WOAH! Hold on...just because we like a movie that you THINK is so awful, we're retarded? If the movie was so bad, then why even comment on this page?

Because everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if people disagree. You two obviously disagree. I suggest you ignore each other and keep the insults to yourselves. That is just a suggestion though. I personally love reading heated arguments between two people over things that don't really matter. It brightens my day.

I've never insulted anyone on this site for their taste in movies, but this movie is beyond bad.  I cannot, for the life of me, understand why any sane person would not be offended by the awfulness of this movie.  

Let's just backtrack over what I saw...

- 10,001 BC (Apparently this is supposed to be funny)
- A prehistoric man is running from what is thought to be a mammoth and lands in a big pile of c**p (again, this is supposed to be funny, although it does symbolize the movie)
- He runs into a guy from American Gladiator who then talks about registering his catchphrase on the internet.  He goes on about this for far too long. (Apparently encountering a guy from American Gladiator and having him talk about the internet despite them being in 10,001 BC is supposed to be funny.  Not sure why.)
- The pre-historic guy wins by hitting the American Gladiator in the nuts. (Wow, didn't expect that!)
- Runs into an Amy Whinehouse look-alike with extra long teeth who pulls out a Macbook from her beehive hairdo, shows she's on Facebook, goes on and on about an impending doom and then pulls a bottle of whiskey from her hair and drinks the whole thing.  (Can't say why any of this would be funny)
- Burps for, literally, about 30 seconds.  In screen time, this is an eternity.  (Even my three year old would get tired of this)
- Wakes up in bed to discover Flavor Flav is in bed with him and in girlfriend.
- I walk out of the theatre, in utter disbelief and awe of how bad and unfunny the first ten minutes was.

And no, I never paid for the `film' or had any intention of watching it.  I just wanted to see the beginning because I had heard how bad it was and wanted to check it out for myself.  It was even worse than  had anticipated.  Keep in mind, I've done this a few times, watched a movie to see how bad it was, and 99% of the time I found the movie better than I anticipated.  Going in with very low expectations will do that.  I went in with very low expectations and what I saw was well below it.  

And I left a comment on this page because I still can't believe how bad the movie is and take pleasure in telling people how bad it was.  Sorry, I didn't realize that a prerequisite to leaving a comment is actually liking the movie.  They should put that rule somewhere.
