Uhg, yeah, hollywood graphic designers are going the same way as alot of the movies.

I have not, nor do I feel the need to even bother checking up on Frilsh's commenting history, but it's quite funny thinking that he/she might have gotten banned from these boards solely by defending this pathetic s**t of a movie. that is, if you can categorize the puke he/she has been spouting as a valid defense. its a stretch, but hey, this is a very bad movie. it can happen.

Can someone please take the "creators" of these movies, cut their balls off so they can never infect the gene pool with kids who might take up the horrible mantle they've created and pour sugar in their gas tanks so they can never AGAIN drive to a movie set to direct another sh*tfest? (I'm sure they'd find ways around that last one.)

Sorry for the strong language; the supposed popularity and "quality" of these movies is a HUGE indication of the fact that Mike Judge's "Idiocracy" was not just a well-made film, but an eerily scary foretelling of things to come.

I weep for people who respond favorably to dreck like this.  Not insulting you, but just... I feel terrible that you may not realize that your intelligence is being insulted.  There are better things out there than the "Movie" series to spend your money on, folks.  You want spoofs?  Check out "Spaceballs".  "Airplane!" and its sequel.  "Blazing Saddles".  The VERY FIRST "Scary Movie", when all the "MOVIE"s hadn't come out yet.

What people don't understand is that "Scary Movie" was the original title of "Scream".  And then, it just ballooned into a parody of itself.  And yes, the writers of "Scary Movie" are Friedberg and Seltzer, the people responsible for "Disaster Movie" and its ilk.

In this day and age of everyone becoming an internet celebrity by parodying the latest Hollywood "thing" on YouTube, the only difference between that and what Friedberg and Seltzer have done is that they had a budget and a studio backing them.  For the love of God, please stop giving them money.  And I realize that it's your choice and all, but realize this: they don't give a damn about your intelligence or even what I have to think about their "product".  They're just going to laugh to the bank.
Don't give them a reason to GO to the bank in the first place.  I make this plea to everyone here: spend your time more intelligently.  Unfunny, terrible "filmmaking" is just not worth anyone's time or cash.

What you have written is the funniest thing I have seen today. And I read it while watching a Lewis Black special (I find him hilarious.) Well played, my good sir. I literally laughed out loud; for about five minutes. I never realized that Frilsh is a female. How was this found out? On Frilsh's member page, the gender is marked as male. If it was revealed in one of her/his comments, that shows you how much I pay attention to her/him.

It's sad how the "With..." credit has sank to an all time low. The "with..." credit is usually reserved for a top draw entertainer, who may not prominently feature in the film,  but is still a big selling point.  And now we've gone from "With Judi Dench as M" to "With Carmen Elektra".  Shame befall us!

Yeah. I liked these spoof movies. I guess I was in a light mood for stupid entertainment. I didn't like Meet the Spartans, partly because there were no castmembers that stood out. In Date Movie, Epic Movie, and Disaster Movie there was at least one castmember that stood out to make the film better or less hard to endure. Disaster Movie, for example, had the golden comedians of Nicole Parker and Christa Flannagin but this is merely my opinion, of course.

You guys can bash and hate the movie all you want. That's fine but remember, it's just a movie people who like it will watch and forget about it later in the day. It's like junk food. You eat it and it taste good (to some) but you won't remember eating it later on.

So, what does Hancock, Enchanted, Hulk, Iron Man, Hellboy, Juno, etc... have to do with disaster movies??? NOTHING!!! Just like these guys other movies. These two keep adding pop culture into their films that have absolutely nothing to do with the titles. That's why I prefer the guy who's done the 3rd and 4th Scary Movies and Superhero Movie over them, because he actually puts the right parodies in his films.

I agree with you, Epic Movie was pretty bad. But atleast Superhero Movie had a plot. & I can't wait for the sequel! & Disaster Movie was better than I thought.

I like these "movie" movies better when they have an actual plot & then have the parodies they want to do thrown in. But if they just have this list of parodies & write scenes for just those & try to mash them together, it's gonna suck. Disaster Movie walked a fine line with that.

I've never insulted anyone on this site for their taste in movies, but this movie is beyond bad.  I cannot, for the life of me, understand why any sane person would not be offended by the awfulness of this movie.  

Let's just backtrack over what I saw...

- 10,001 BC (Apparently this is supposed to be funny)
- A prehistoric man is running from what is thought to be a mammoth and lands in a big pile of c**p (again, this is supposed to be funny, although it does symbolize the movie)
- He runs into a guy from American Gladiator who then talks about registering his catchphrase on the internet.  He goes on about this for far too long. (Apparently encountering a guy from American Gladiator and having him talk about the internet despite them being in 10,001 BC is supposed to be funny.  Not sure why.)
- The pre-historic guy wins by hitting the American Gladiator in the nuts. (Wow, didn't expect that!)
- Runs into an Amy Whinehouse look-alike with extra long teeth who pulls out a Macbook from her beehive hairdo, shows she's on Facebook, goes on and on about an impending doom and then pulls a bottle of whiskey from her hair and drinks the whole thing.  (Can't say why any of this would be funny)
- Burps for, literally, about 30 seconds.  In screen time, this is an eternity.  (Even my three year old would get tired of this)
- Wakes up in bed to discover Flavor Flav is in bed with him and in girlfriend.
- I walk out of the theatre, in utter disbelief and awe of how bad and unfunny the first ten minutes was.

And no, I never paid for the `film' or had any intention of watching it.  I just wanted to see the beginning because I had heard how bad it was and wanted to check it out for myself.  It was even worse than  had anticipated.  Keep in mind, I've done this a few times, watched a movie to see how bad it was, and 99% of the time I found the movie better than I anticipated.  Going in with very low expectations will do that.  I went in with very low expectations and what I saw was well below it.  

And I left a comment on this page because I still can't believe how bad the movie is and take pleasure in telling people how bad it was.  Sorry, I didn't realize that a prerequisite to leaving a comment is actually liking the movie.  They should put that rule somewhere.

im ashamed to admit it...I found it quite funny!! The song ripping High School Musical was quite catchy,The CHimpmunk gag (While not a disaster movie) was the funniest bit in the whole movie!!!
