Quote: From producer Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy) and director Neill Blomkamp comes a startlingly original sciencefiction thriller that "soars on the imagination of its creators" (Peter Travers, Rolling Stone). With stunning special effects and gritty realism, the film plunges us into a world where the aliens have landed... only to be exiled to a slum on the fringes of Johannesburg. Now, one lone human discovers the mysterious secret of the extraterrestrial weapon technology. Hunted and hounded through the bizarre back alleys of an alien shantytown, he will discover what it means to be the ultimate outsider on your own planet.

I agree the 2 Disc should be different you don't need a quote on the 2 disc and you can be a little more inventive with the artwork. I've said it before, only people that saw the movie and are fans are buying the 2 disc so why not cater to them?
hey look, spelling error on the 2 disc dvd artwork: It will "bdw" your mind

Looks like the "L" and the "O" got smooshed together to form a "D."

District 9 and MOON were the best movies of the year in my book. I can't wait for District 10 in 3 years or hopefully sooner. Sure, there were bigger box office boffo's but when it comes to quality movie making in a genre generally snubbed by critics and award panels, these 2 movies were by far the best of the year. Both movies are great additions to the DVD collection.

Great story. Would read again. A++++
OK, I HATED THIS MOVIE
Thank you, your majesty.
Damn right I'm a majesty
No, You're a punk who loves at home with his parents, dyes his hair blue, watches wrestling on saturday nights, banned on numerous websites by the name of Frilsh, and repeats the same moronic comments on message boards over and over again. Stay on your meds!
That's where I know this guy from then, it's the same pathetic stuff as Frilsh, why people feel the need to troll websites I'll never know.........

Not to have a go at you mate, but I and no doubt others strongly object to the use of the 5th word you typed in this statement, it is both offensive and ignorant, please can you refrain from using it in future, this is a Blu Ray / DVD website where terms like this have no place in it's discussions.
Thanks,
Andy.
I agree totally Andy.

Absolutely loved this film. One of the best scifi's in years. Will be getting the Bluray on day one.
The Blu-Ray will also come packed with the Demo of God Of War III for the PS3 system but this is not the first time something like that is done as they are pretending because the collector's edition of Stranglehold came packed with the movie Hard-Boiled.
District 9 is an excellent movie and a must buy for me.

well that made sense since Stranglehold was a sequel to that movie but GOD 3 with District 9 makes no sense...i'm sure its just a "we own both" thing but you'd think they'd put a demo of a game that shared similarities or a theme. but a movie about aliens with a game about mythological greece? hmmm. lol
